Checked in Poundland today and found their deal is back on. This time it's 2 x 8 packs for £1, so still the same value as the previous 16 pack for £1.

Sympathy please, i'd love a Morrisons! They were supposed to build one here, they had a site and planning permission, there was publicity in the local papers, they were all set to go and then they suddenly pulled the plug when the big four supermarkets hit a bit of a dip a few years back and that was the end of it. I'd happily swap a Poundland (or two) for a Morrisons!

Actually I did get your joke.
Unfortunately you don't understand sarcasm.

It had already been posted! :disappointed:
If it makes you feel better, I have three Poundlands but no Morrisons!

The store manager said it was nationwide, (Believe me, if our local store gets a deal it's got to be nationwide as we very rarely get the deals advertised on here.)

Cold from me. As Sarah7 points out, they're still available in Poundland at 16 for £1, even if you do need to rummage at the back of the shelves a bit behind all the 8-packs.

If you found them at a better price why didn't you inform us, the mere mortals of the world?
'Cause some of us 'mere mortals' have Morrisons but have not been deemed worthy of a Poundland. Or are you just trying to keep your bargains a secret from us 'mere mortals'??

In recent weeks they've been 16 for £1 in Poundland and then 8 for 50p in Iceland, so this isn't quite as good, but it's not bad & can't go back in time, etc.
