Swot up on the CAA guidelines for flying these, or you may be wasting your money.

Amazing good for the price! Aeromodelling is such a fuss normally, but these things just seem to fly!

Has anybody ordered one yet? I have tried - discounts etc worked, then it asked me to select the delivery method - no options came up! Ordering from the UK warehouse, paying by paypal, shipping to a UK mainland address. No idea how to proceed.

Only got 200 points, but bought it for son's birthday. He is learning to fly a model plane but that one has a 5 ft wingspan and has to fly it at designated site. He can try this one anywhere for bit of fun. Thanks OP

People like you are the reason serious model pilots are now facing new regulations. YES, people care about where you fly. YES, you can and will get into trouble if you ignore the rules. Everyone else, please ignore the "advice" of this idiot and have a look at the rules. Fly safe guys.

Yup, I used to travel 20miles to my nearest club to fly at an old airbase. Thats where I was taught by tethering to fly + insurance was included.

You'll be needing insurance and 10 years training as a pilot soon to fly one of these soon. Wouldn't surprise me if you needed permission to throw a paper aeroplane either.
About 10 people in the UK have ruined RC hobby for everyone else by flying like utter c u next Tuesday's. When i first flew my blade chroma's with fpv cam people would come round to look at the screen, have a go themselves. Thanks to morons and the media, the same people now hound us out of parks (they're banned completely in places in Derby). So now rather than flying low and line of site, i have to make sure i can't be spotted.

looks nice, could have much fun with this little RC toy. :sunglasses:
My son has DJI drone, we take it out into the dales miles away from anywhere and we still get hassle from people saying we are on a flight path, you can clearly see the vapor trails 20000 feet above us. Really ? If we are at risk of hitting a plane then theres something really wrong. We use the apps to say where to fly it, but so many people know a bit of info but feel they are fully versed so just chew your ear.
Gets right on my nerves, we go out of the way not to fly in the vicinity of people , houses but really some people just cant stop themselves 'have you spoke to the ATC at the airport?' - really - bog off. Makes me nervous of confrontation every time we go out. Gotta say my fuse is getting shorter and shorter with these folks!
Wish people would just use their common sense and observe if there is a localised problem/issue to use the drone

Got mine a couple of days ago, coped reasonable well with a bit of breeze but need a calm day for this to be at its best. Crashed several times and plane just bounces! Bargain
