Yep, the director of Pepper Deals Ltd who owns HUKD is also the director of Maple Syrup Media Ltd which owns Quidco and Checkout Smart. Seems like a conflict of interest to me...

I personally don't agree with Quidco deals on here. Quidco and HUKD are/used to be owned by the same couple.
This seems like affiliate spam to me.

I know I know many won't have an issue with AliExpress, but twice now my cards have been cloned after using this site. The credit card company refunded all the transactions (majority Uber taxi fares in London... I live 500+ miles away) but I personally wouldn't use this site ever again. Which is a shame as it's cheap for many items.

They are bigger than amazon, I've used them well over 100 times and spent thousands and have never had any issues with my cards.

I've used the site a fair bit and never had a problem. My issue with this deal is that AliExpress claims on Quidco are incredibly slow, you're unlikely to get your 15% cashback for 4-6 months.

The problems with Quidco for me (and I hope the owner is listening)
The cashback is never guaranteed
When they do pay out you never know what you were paid for
Topcashback breaks it all down and tells you who is owing and who is paid whereas no matter if you have been paid Quidco just says tracking
Edit: actually i am wrong so i take it back, i have just checked and it does say paid if you go into your account

Aliexpress declined my quidco the only time its happened so not sure i would trust them with a large purchase if the quidco is important

If I remember correctly, bacķ in the day, Paul used to own and run HUKD and his Wife owned and ran Quidco.
Could be wrong, I am trying to remember when HUKD just started.

I've never had an issue with aliexpress on quidco personally. Good deal!

Exactly i don't think people understand how it works.
Your not giving your details to some random Chinese person. It's all handled thru aliexpress who are bloody massive
Quidco never gets approved for Aliexpress, this is yet another Quidco tactic to get your business.
The way you'll get your money (50/50) is to put a manual claim in, which as many will know is months later, by which time Quidco won't be interested.
Normally Quidco tracking is so so, but with Aliexpress don't expect anything at 15%

Conflict of interest?!?!
That's bonkers.
We're lucky to have a deals website like this at all.
Are you honestly surprised that the owner is, shock, horror, actually expecting to make some profit out of their own business?!
Topcashback is publicised much more than Quidco is for what it's worth.

Conflict of interests only concern me when they negatively affect consumers.
This could be - if it ever tracks given Quidco's history - a good deal for consumers.
