They're not meant for trekking! For the times you end up buying things and need your hands free, they're ideal. Worked take well for me as a beach bag in Goa. I've bought a few as gifts too.

I'm not sure on page it says best price and considering other 10l backpacks range from £2.49 and up I think its a bargain.

I was looking at them midweek there because of the price but they are very thin, would buy one but would never use it as anything u put in it would hurt your back unless you were buying pillows...

I bought the £2.49 one which is a bit thicker and stronger, took it all around New Zealand and Australia, it was a brilliant and still as good as new.

Haha and you just end up crunching it in a ball and stuffing it in your pocket!

Bought 5 of the slightly better bags from decathlon to use as 2nd carry on bags for Ryanair flights, great for kids stuff, books, portable games and tablets!

I would recommend one of these to anyone going back packing or on a city break with a lot of walking. You can carry lunch but not be encumbered by a bag all day.

Pretty sure I have one of these, used it for camping. Not hard-wearing but does the job and exceptionally light weight

I bought the £2.49 one in the Decathlon shop on holiday in Croatia last week, (easier than click and collect at Asda, and it was only £2.25!!), and I'm already in love with it. In flight bag, gym bag, meetings bag

Bought one very similar to this from Decathlon in 2012 for a 500 mile Cycle trip....used daily to stash food & drink before finding a camp site for the night...since then it's been in my pocket in case I buy more than I mean to at tesco Etc....It developed a little hole (keys) after a couple of years so I bought a bigger version (The Friendly Swede - recommended) but It's still going strong - collected wife from airport this am & a flask of coffee, pack of croissants, OJ, satnav charger all fit comfortably...just bought another anyway...

bought one

I didnt realise it would be so small!
On the upside I will use it on holiday i guess for beach stuff ie suncream mp3 etc but I doubt a beach towel would fit in it
If you are after a standard backpack you'll need 20-30 litres
I still gave heat at the time and as others have said its a handy bag which is very small
Maybe a 5p bag from Tesco is just as good
