When I could get it to pick up the barcode, it consistently reads it wrong on my phone, which makes the app as useful as the proverbial chocolate teapot for me (and there were reviews on the Play Store suggesting I'm not alone). Great for those who have better phones than mine!

You point the camera at the code and hold home key to get screen search up and that auto recognises it...or that's how I do it on 7.2.1 at least.
If you have Assistant you just need to hit the "What's on my screen" button when it opens.
