Well reviewed compact speakers, I was after the gloss white finish ideally but these offer a good saving.
Lowest they've been on Amazon is £145 and with free delivery and a 6 year guarantee these represent some sort of offer...
Hope it helps someone.

Only bought the 2010s a few weeks ago for the same. Considering replacing them!

I use a pair of 2010s for Monitoring, but they really need to be setup near ear level in a triangle with your head at one point. Paired with a sub they're pretty nice for watching films and listening to music.

Brilliant speakers, had these paired with a Topping VX1 amp/DAC for my PC audio, it's a great combo.

Just a shame they want an extra £20 to get rid of that horrible leather finish!
If these are anything like the 2000 series, you'll want the 20's as your fronts rather than the 10's. The 10's make good surrounds/rears though (I have 2020 at the front, 2010 at the side/back).

The graphite ones are the same price.

These are great speakers and well worth it at that price. I would have another set if I had the room.

Anyone know how these compare to my current speakers (M-Audio AV40) ?? worth the upgrade?

I'm looking at the 5.1 pack, I wonder if mix and matching might make it cheaper than buying the set.

Graphite ones show as £119 for me.

Found them worse than the Creative ones they replaced. If the pot wasn't dirty, I wouldn't have bothered.

A lot of reviews say that the bottom end of these is pretty weak, can anyone vouch?
Im looking for a small pair of monitors for my desktop, was looking for some powered ones but could go for these with a decent dac if they are any good.

Could these be connected to an IPAD?

Not directly. You need an amp.

Looking at the complete system for £639 that comes with four 3010 speakers a 3070 sub and 3090 centre.
I take it one would also need an amp? Not one built in to the sub or the centre etc? Would work out at around a grand assuming one could get a decent amp for around £400 :man:

They're all passive, apart from the sub. But the amp in the sub is for the sub only. You need an AV receiver.

Yes, you'd need an amp, but do yourself a favour and get the 3020s for the fronts - the extra punch from the 20s pays dividends when watching films.

Thanks. Any recommendations on a good one for home cinema that would pair well with this speaker setup?

Got a pair of the 2010 for about the same price - excellent little speakers whose big sound amazes everyone when they first hear them, for a small bookshelf / standmount speaker. Great deal.

Denon X2300W, Pioneer VSX1131. Well priced AV's. You could go cheaper, like the Yamaha RX-V581 and lower models.

I don't think so.

Personally I'd keep the BX2's, they are going to be hard to beat in this price bracket.

can the speakers be connected to a smart TV , either directly or through a qaccoustic soundbar?
Would an pair of old speakers from my cinema system work with the little amp? thanks

Yes if they're standard speakers.

No problem.
I have the little Bluetooth amp myself with my own 12v 5A power supply. Powers 6 Ohm speakers pretty well. Obviously not too loud but does great. It can also be a DAC for PC using USB.

The speakers I have are 3ohm each, I should get a loud volume I presume?

Thanks.
Sorry for all questions, but what justifies the big difference in price between those two?
You seem to know quite a bit about this stuff. I was hoping to produce music on garageband on the ipad and wanted a pretty simple set up to play it back and record stuff, just to give you a little insight into why I want the speakers. Thanks again

Do you guys think the 3020s are worth the extra 50£?

21 Apr 17#37
You would be better off with some monitor speakers i think. They're self powered so none of the above is needed.
For rears maybe not. But if you're using them for stereo or for the fronts of a multi-channel setup, probably.

Well that little adventure cost me a packet (I couldn't bring myself to go with the leather effect), with a new 5.1 set up. The 3020 fronts and 3010 rears, sub and centre, very nice indeed.

i have some dimonond 9 for my monitors surround
and hifi speakers for front, yahama sub and old Delhi speaker for center, will the 3020 be ok for front, i don't get why the front has bass speaker, when there set as small, does the speaker still use the bass speaker, cross over 90

But you can't connect monitors straight to Ipad right? I thought you still needed something inbetween for the red/white cables?
