Glad I played the demo instead of taking the plunge... its pretty disappointing, I played the demo through and deleted it.

What's your basis for saying that? There aren't *any* reviews available yet for the game - and there likely won't be until Friday at the earliest, with the game being published by Bethesda.

so looks like mixed reviews then, guess I'll wait for post game release reviews

There's a prompt once you've exhausted the story content; at that point, you're still able to explore the area freely, but the story won't progress.

Opening act is awesome. But when you get to the ship it does get a bit "meh". The monsters aren't fun to kill, and it's not clear where the demo ends. After you get to his office, you get another objective, but it's not possible to get there as far as I can tell!

I love Dishonoured but the similarities in this are annoying me already. The notifications and ticks that appear onscreen are identical.....similar voice cast & scripted characters....notes and books to collect, etc... it's like a re-skinned Dishonoured rather than a new game

Its plays so much like the dishonoured games which ain't a bad thing. I think I will wait on buying the full game because I've seen how quick Bethesda published games fall in price.

Just tried it,seems good,Reminds me of half-life,got to bit where you meet 2 monsters, one of them shoots fireballs so kept on dying,I think this game will get good reviews.

Been a subscriber of Boomerang for years , no point in me paying full price for a game that I'll complete in less than 20 hours and never play again, I only really purchase games I intend to play online and the rest I rent through Boomerang , saves me a fortune
You'll have to excuse me for being so unethical and saving myself money

Enjoying this but xbox one version isnt the prettiest. Lots of performance dips and the game just looks blurry. Roll on scorpio.

Gonna rent through Boomerang so I won't bother downloading as I don't want to play through the first hour twice , more developers should do this though , gives people a chance to get a feel for if they would like the game, heat from me

I have a feeling the PC version, no demo available, will be another Dishonoured 2 **** show. I recently played through the original Prey again recently and it is still a solid and unique game, not sure how this instalment fits in with the older game..

Well the dishonored 2 'demo' is around 50gb (since I assume it's the full game and it'll give you the option to unlock it)

12gb for a demo? Sheesh.

Excellent, been on the fence about this so can now decide on immediate investment or whether to wait for a price drop and make some headway into the current backlog.
