ID Mobile don't offer thethering and only 250 mins! So thats not a reason not to post this deal is it!
You're welcome not everyone wants thousands of minutes and text i have unlimited texts and i've rarely got over 200 in any one given month! I've only gone over 500 mins once in two years!

No i was told by someone on here that they had been upgraded to 4g on the £5-95 plan.I rang Plusnet and was told yes but we have to send new sims to get the 4g.When i got the new sims i rang to activate them and was told sorry you'll have to move to a higher price to get 4g.Anyway i upgraded yesterday to the £8 4g deal and i am waiting for new sims to come.

Right, I see - thanks. I'm also not in any desperate need for credit so it shouldn't affect me either but it's not good that this is going on.

2 May 17#125
It's never good to have multiple credit checks in a short space of time on your credit file (each stays on 12 months) because it makes you look desperate for credit!
And a credit check is far more detrimental than a soft search for someone wanting to get a mortgage/loan/cheap credit card in the near future. Thankfully none of that applies to me but I'd be really annoyed if trying to get a cheap sim messed up a future credit application.
By taking your date of birth and time at current address they are DEFINITELY doing a credit check. And I am worried that they have done one each time I've had to resubmit because of their naff 500 error.
After 3 tries I gave up and won't be trying again.
retrogeezer
2 May 17#124
Yes, I and a few others have had this problem. I had to use a different laptop to get it to work in the end. Does it matter if they keep doing credit checks then? If it helps, nothing seemed to happen until I got it to actually work.

I don't understand. Why did you order new SIM's? Did they make you believe you could upgrade to 4G but still pay £5.95?
bemad
2 May 17#122
Have tried 3 times to order and just keep getting the 500 error (and the bloke holding his hands up) at the very final stage. Nothing wrong with my card details or anything and now I am worried that each time that I have ordered they will have done a credit check.
Thanks for nothing Plusnet! Great way to alienate customers.

4G, what a joke! Just switched from the Life 3G plan to this and the speed, sitting at my desk in the same position has gone from constant 15Mbps with 3G down to 5-10 Mbps with 4G! 1000 minutes (i.e. double this offer)
5000 texts (i.e. 5 x this offer)
1.5gb 4g (i.e. 50% more than this offer).
Yet, it costs me only 5.95 per month. An extra 95p, for far far more.

Hahahaha that's actually really funny considering the deal you refer to had received it's full heat allocation and this was still in the early stages so to compare them at that point was incredibly foolish. Careful with these deals guys! If they structure the plan so that they are giving you 'free' stuff, such as doubling your data, be very careful that the 'free' part isn't time limited. For example, TalkTalk gave us very low priced sims with very low data etc but with very very high additions, on a 30 day plan. After 12 months the additions were removed (without them telling us) and the price shot up!

Either 2G, 3G or 4G coverage of 99.63% of the UK population as at 30 September 2016. Based on EE data.
This isn't very reassuring to be honest, as most of the coverage could be 2G (unusuably slow) or 3G (very slow). 4G on its own should be 95% coverage of the UK by now but for one of the so-called richest nations on earth, we are terribly backwards with our general internet infrastructure.

Why buy a 7 seater car if its just me & the girlfriend.
I was getting bored of her anyway so looking forward to the replacement, especially with double of everything.
4G, as per the OP's Deal Title ...
:-)
I used to have an unlimited data deal for £16 a month 2/3 years ago but I use 300mb a month on average so no point in paying for it.
Thanks OP!
anyhow my tariff is for my life or until Three's or if they change there T&C's and as I don't need internet out of home/work I will not leave Three yet but if I needed it this would be a cracking deal.....
Anyway , it all depends whether you are a low user or not. I had the same £5.95 deal but I never used the allowance so why should I pay more for something that I don't use nor need... Plus now I have 4g :-)
1000 minutes (i.e. double this offer)
5000 texts (i.e. 5 x this offer)
1.5gb 4g (i.e. 50% more than this offer).
Yet, it costs me only 5.95 per month. An extra 95p, for far far more.
It isn't available right now, but no doubt they will be back.
Might they change it back to normal after a few months?
Are you having some kind of nervous breakdown?
And not all were good either?, I personally don't have either? (do wouldn't know either way?). :-)
I think they were querying about keeping the SIM Card in leu for a few day first, BEFORE then having to cash out and pay for noted Rolling Contract fee, etc?.
They then obviously realised that that probably wasn't to be the case again or whatever?. :-)
Try that mate
Cracking deal, although did take an hour to sort it all out (didn't recognise I'm a plusnet broadband customer, doesn't make any difference to anything, couldn't remember wife's giffgaff logon details, spent 30 minutes trying to find out how to cancel giffgaff contract).
sshhhhh
Lol
Yours is not under £6 though right? (and I'm assuming your also referring to Plusnet too like?), or ..... thanx :-)
:-)
And cheers OP - heat added. FWIW, the id deal just doesn't have enough minutes talktime for a PHONE. And cheers for the quidco headsup too.
It was on their MAX plan, whatever that is. Seeing as I go abroad a lot, and have EE home broadband that gives me an extra 5GB mobile data for free, I thought this was good enough for me.

(Log into your account obviously)
Then click on the £5 sim option that shows £7.50 cash back, and that will take you to the Plusnet site & order it..
This isn't very reassuring to be honest, as most of the coverage could be 2G (unusuably slow) or 3G (very slow). 4G on its own should be 95% coverage of the UK by now but for one of the so-called richest nations on earth, we are terribly backwards with our general internet infrastructure.

The last deal was 2gb= 5gb for £10.
*edit* forget that, it says pay first month up front.

Currently on the 250mins & 1GB data plan, the extra minutes would be useful.
You're welcome not everyone wants thousands of minutes and text i have unlimited texts and i've rarely got over 200 in any one given month! I've only gone over 500 mins once in two years!
