Forza Horizon looks fantastic in HDR. Took it to our caravan and was genuinely pleased at how good it even looks in 1080p. Seriously, such a great looking game, I just wish it was more for me :disappointed:

6 months warranty on used consoles aswell...

I've currently got one of these on a 1080p screen and would suggest that, unless you have a 4K TV, stick to the original or slim PS4 models. I've just not seen the benefit (beyond benchmarks) to justify the cost above non-pro models.

It's also far buggier than the slim I used to own and the original that I still own. Things like audio cutting out over wireless via the controller and games crashing (perhaps due to boost mode?) are far too common.

Finally, the unit is a lot larger and a lot louder than the slim.

I'm hoping more developers will show it 1080p love over the coming months. For now, I'd give it a pass.

I was fortunate enough to get one last year via the Amazon warehouse promotions (-20%) that were going on at the time for around this price and I love it, it's a great console, especially if you have a 4K set but debateably even worth getting if not when it's this kind of price. Issues with them

1) Order stuck at processing
2) Not telling me there was an issue with the order
3) Emailed them to be told "I have asked despatch to contact you" which they never did
4) No reply from my second email, send yesterday.
5) No contact telephone number on web site.
6) I see stock in there local store for walking in customers.

Had they said after a couple of days "sorry we took more orders from hotukdeals than we could handle, here is a refund" then I would have been a happy.

Mine arrived in a brown box, with just the console and controller rolled up in loads of bubble wrap. Console is in excellent condition though, a few marks here and there.

Still waiting for mine, not impressed at all...

Mine didn't arrive today as they advised in the email. They emailed saying they have had further stock level problems with stock levels of this item and are trying to resolve it. I ordered on the 30/04 so not very impressed either.

I get the sense that people outstripped the stock count on the website and we're all back-ordered until someone trades a Pro into a physical store. Shame they couldn't be a bit more up front about things rather than sitting on our money with scrappy, sporadic responses.

Well I have received my PS4 pro :smile: turns out they delivered it on Thursday to the concierge but didn't put a card through my door lol. Mines came in original box and is almost as new with no scratches or damage. Just setting it up now.

Mine has arrived. Box all damaged and ripped. Haven't had it out the box yet but console looks in good condition, hopefully the damage to the box wont of affected the console/hdd, will find out when i get it home !

That's a pain! Mines was pretty much perfect......then I realised that the charging port on the controller is broken so I'm sending the controller back and they said they would send a replacement

I received mine yesterday (16th May). Mine came in original box with no marks on unit or controller. Can't say I will rate them highly for service or keeping the customer abreast of stuff but they did send me a unit eventually after a LONG wait.

Got mine yesterday. Immaculate condition, even the box didn't have a mark on it. Very impressed, it was worth the wait.

Haven't tried it myself but i noticed the input on the ps4 pro looks identical to the connector found on 'kettle leads' the leads that usually used on desktop pcs and many monitors and tvs too. Would have thought one of those would work as a stand in, if you have one lying around or can borrow one from your pc, though willing to stand corrected if im wrong...

that's what i'm currently using.rather have the real thing though as a kettle lead has 3 pins whereas a ps4 pro one has only 2 - makes me a little uneasy. other than that it's the principle of the matter!

You have nothing to be uneasy about. Just use ANY IEC (kettle) cable and you'll be fine. The official cable is going to do nothing different. Trust me, I use these cables all the time in the studio. They're not magically different to one another.

Well my replacement controller turned up today and it works so I guess Grainger games came good in the end and my experience with them has been good apart from th initial lack of communication. Hope everyone is enjoying there PS4 pro deal
