For anyone on the fence about getting this.. DO IT. I promise you won't regret it. Its beautiful. SO much attention to detail. A ton better that Roller Coaster Tycoon World.
Played on the minimum specs it requires and it's still grogeous... it lagged ever so slightly when the park I was building became huge but it's a lot more optimised than even the cartoony looking RCT World and that was AWFUL for lag, P Coaster allowed me to build much bigger parks and even then didn't lag as bad as RCT.
Just search Planet Coaster on YouTube or search for Silvarett and get some inspiration.... it'll make you want to buy this game too.

Anyone whos played this experienced any serious lag/drop in fps when you start to expand your park and get more guests? Or is it just the vocal part of the internet shouting nonsense again?

Personally, on a mid range computer I have encountered some hiccups at larger parks but nothing too significant for me. But it is come to expected with the genre with all building and simulations up to a certain size you get diminishing returns in performance. Best thing to do if you are interested is play it for the two hours and if you have dodgy performance on your rig just request a refund. It is an awesome game, but the best way to know about performance issues is to try it.

i really like the look of it, loved rollercoaster tycoon when I was young, only problem I have is I don't get the time id like to justify this price, although if a footy coupon comes in for a change I might buy it lol
