And speaking of sacks, all I can say is b*ll**ks! Boots are out of stock and Amazon's price has gone up to £55.85.
Was just about to order. My fault for dithering.

I have one of these and there is an internal fault with battery connection.
Philips are aware and replaced mine outside warranty.

great price as these are normally over £50 elsewhere.
however amazon now increased the price back to £55.80
you can ask John Lewis to price match with Boots and they will, but it only makes sense if you can't get one from Boots, because the shaver comes with 2 years warranty from Philips regardless of where you buy it from anyway.
PS: Register it on Philips website and you will get 3 years warranty.

I called Philips, informing them that one side works and the other side doesn't. intermittent.
no dramas, they said that they were aware of the loose connection issues.

Hi, no luck for me. Told mine is out off warranty. I did purchase it in 2013. Think i've got my monies worth. Have ordered new batteries to see if I can get it going again (little project for me).

Yep, back up again. I ordered at 7.15 this morning.
Worth adding to your basket - easier to keep your eye on any price changes.

The main issue with this is the poor battery life.
While doing your sack attack, keep an eye on the flashing amber light, soon as that comes on - withdraw immediately, otherwise you'll find the machine won't want to let go while stuck in mid cut.... ya get me....
