I'm not sure at the number, but the angle isn't the best. If I have it facing straight out, on top of a doorway, it struggles to detect movement below. I have to angle it down slightly. So it's not the end of the world. Come to think of it...perhaps if I increase the sensitivity.

I have a normal 3 bed terrace and wondered if it were mounted on the ceiling it would sense movement for the stairs and all 4 rooms which I guess maybe not

Love ours. In the hallway so when kids go to the loo in the middle of the night hallway and bathroom lights come on for 2 mins.

Yes have one and like it , ..............but....
a known issue is that they cant be programmed to return to a previous state, so for instance I tried mine in my lounge/kitchen area in case I needed a drink in the night, works fine but if you have the lights set as normal for the room then you move the sensor detects you then just switches them all off 2 mins later, so you then have to switch them all on again......
So have mine in the bedroom to turn bedroom and hallway light on if I need to go to the bathroom, again works fine , but I have the hall light on all evening, so if I happen to walk into the bedroom the hall light then switches off a few mins later.
As said it needs a return to previous state option so if you get up in the night it then switches the lights off , but if its earlier in the evening the lights go back to where they were...
Hope that makes sense...........

Needing some help.
My mum is just home from hospital after a stroke. She is wheelchair bound and I'm wondering if this product would be of benefit to her.
She has a downstairs toilet, if I buy this do I just put it in the toilet and leave the light switch to always on?
Do I need a Philips bulb too?

You generally have to walk across a PIR to activate it. Walking towards or away from one doesn't break enough beams to trigger it. If that makes sense.

How do hue bulbs work. Can I fit them on my three bulb light on the ceiling. How Would that work do I just keep the switch in the on position and use a sensor or app on my phone. Can they be used on lamps

Have to agree. I love my Hue bulbs but the sensor doesn't add much of a value.
It doesn't even support homekit.

I think you would need the smartthings hub V2 and philips hue bridge. Ie. Both systems for it to work properly.
