Been looking at Atmos speakers... these are the cheapest I've seen... £129 most places here.
Price includes delivery and the exact price will be dependant on the card used and exchange rate. Mine is an xe.net conversion and paid for on clarity card in Euros not GBP.

Everything? or just what was coming out of the speakers?
Anyway, sounds like they haven't been dampened sufficiently
Also, just FYI these 'Atmos Speakers' have no trickery to make them work with 'Atmos', instead of the speaker cones facing forward, they are tilted slightly.
You can get the result from any old speaker and point it at the ceiling, just saying

Yeah that'd be a bad idea. This is the optimal setup for 7.1.4:

I'm new to ATMOS. These would only be part of the set up though right? You need about a 9 or 11 for a full set up?

You need standard 5.1 and 2+ for atmos/dts-x

I thought he only comments on deals for decent brands, like JVC or Sony, not unknowns.

Cheap for a pair of Atmos speakers, only negative is the nasty spring clip speaker terminals.

Showing in my account for £76.34 so wasn't a bad guess... iirc, the DCC rate (pay in £) was about £79.50

Are these really just 'pinch-clips' connection for such a premium product?
I'd rather take my chances with an out-of-the-box set from Argos...

Is it best to pay in EUR or GBP on Amazon from a UK bank?

It's said to be cheaper to use euro if you can as people say Amazon give a lousy exchange rate though you do have to be careful your card provider doesn't charge for euro transactions as that could make it worse than just using Amazon's rate.
My card charges for non sterling use so I use the converter, it isn't as good as the rate shown on a standard website converter but wasn't terrible IMHO...

Thank you. Just another quick question. I was thinking of having my whole setup using ceiling speakers for a cleaner look, except the sub. Will that be a bad idea?

Room above is the bedroom so no body will really be in there when watching a movie with atmos etc.

After some advice guys. House currently getting refurbed. Would it be better to install some ceiling speakers such as the Polk Audio rc60 for atmos or will these do?

We had ceiling speakers in our kitchen, and I'm not sure if it was the way they were installed but it meant the room above would hear everything.

These upfiring type speakers are more for people who can't/won't install ceiling speakers. Much better to have the speakers be where the sound is meant to be rather than relying on reflection.

Reviews on other Amazons are 4-4.5 = looks great (if you have the right receiver/content)

I've been watching these for a long time. This is a hot price for these speakers.
