The annual M&S home event starts again on the 11th April, and runs until the 19th. Savings include 20% off most home items but selected lines will have higher discounts e.g selected mattresses will be 50% off and corner sofas will have 40% off.
Hope this helps anyone planning on making some purchases to save a few pennies!

Items go to their outlet stores before final disposal.

Yes they have outlet stores where they go to be sold at even reduced prices. Have been to one and did find alot of good deals. But its all about luck!

Just type in M&S Outlet in Google it should give you a location nearest you...I've been to Spalding...I think it's called Spring fields something. Has all other outlets as well like next and radley...but don't make a mind to buy something specific as you don't know what stock is available.

Anyone know when Marks might have another 20% event for clothing? I keep getting multiple 20% off clothing offers in my Sparks page but not for the categories I want to spend in (that might be the point, granted).

Outlets does offer sales like other high street stores. They operate differently

Once the M&S sale has finished all remaining stock is donated to charity. It is not sent to M&S Outlet stores to be sold.

Those asking about clearance. If you time it and go to a M&S usually 1st or 2nd week in March they have everything out that is either clearance or ex display that needs to go. Bargains galore but it's pure luck, could last one day, could last a week. I went this year to a large store and got a large footstool for £89 (ex display, retails on website for £499 and also a gorgeous large french style kitchen table, £180, retails online currently for £899. Try next year, have been finding things like this for almost 5 yrs or so.

well it wasn't confirmed to the public, seen as the event hadn't been officially announced to them yet. I work in this department and read it in our briefing
