Got ours because my wife didn't like me testing milk temperature with my finger (for coffee, not baby milk).
.....also great for entertaining guests, it's amazing how excited adults get checking the temperature of "things".

But with my laser pointer, for the cats to play with, along with my laser measurer and now with my laser heat thing there doesn't seem much else to zap at.
The laser measurer is great. I now know, from two simple clicks, how tall the lamp post is outside our house. Well worth it.
