Use loose ground coffee not Nespresso pods.
They use 3g of packaging for 6g of coffee! Wasteful & bad for the environment.

And they stay fresh. And you get a choice of varieties including flavours and decaf to sit different tastes. Really there's no comparison.

No comparison to what? To coffee not bought in pods? Wasn't that a comparison? Can't you get coffee without pods in a much wider "choice of varieties and flavours and decaf to suit different tastes"? Without the waste. MUCH fresher?
Nespresso may be okay, but it's a poor relation to well brewed fresh espresso. Or any other sort of coffee. There really is no comparison.

Must be a misprice but what the heck, in for a penny! Obviously not for you ScroopEgerton but for me, Nespresso coffee tastes great

They've been £70 before, so doubt a misprice, just a good deal - perhaps price matching someone or now ran out of stock at lower price.

Not seen this model that cheap with aeroccino myself. There were two left at 60 about an hour ago sold by Amazon. Current deals are not sold by them.

Got the warehouse deals on at 55

If the machine has been registered before you won't get the credits

I know, worth a shot at 55. Aeroccino worth 55, can always return anyway. 60 was amazing deal and that's why warehouse price has dropped

Yes I suppose. These are great machines, recently upgraded to one myself from my old school essenza. Got decent money for that second hand too but bought this using the amex 39.99 offer.

Actually no comparison to any other means of having coffee. In my household we have about 6 different varieties a day. We are time poor. We hate cleaning out traditional espresso machines (i've owned two). It's harder to make a latte and takes longer. I could go on. Horses for courses but in terms of systems using capsules nespresso is, imho, the best. Costs more and obviously not as fresh as grinding your own (though they need to be fresh) beans, but offset by convenience. Recently we've also been chucking the machine in the bags when we go on holiday. The recycling argument is a minor one in comparison to all the other waste - I send my capsules back and the aluminium is recycled in a sustainable way.
Anyway as I say, each to their own, as a pod system, this is the best, and the deal here was exceptional.

What's the Amex offer? Thanks

Long time ago, got it in the post buy x capsules which I needed to anyway, get the machine for 40. This machine has never been cheap, the side tank and motorised capsule mechanism makes it a premium unit, so the price in this deal especially with the credit offer was exceptional.

You can cut the foil off the top, rinse and the put in normal recycling. Saves having a smelly bag around the house and shipping

I've a small food waste bin that sits outside and the recycling bag neatly fills that. No smelly bags and no more work for me! (Just drop it into a collect plus, store there's no charge)

Means more environmental impact though, probably more impact shipping back for recycling than recycling via nestle saves

Maybe. You could argue that by recycling then in bulk at a specialised facility they do it much more efficiently. Who knows!

Indeed. Nice coffee anyway!

I got the same machine via Amazon Warehouse for £55.97 as I think it will have been automatically reduced due to this misprice.
Anyway, applied for the £60 and on my used machine and its been agreed and creditted! Machine with Aeroccino + £60 pod credit for £55.97!
Worth a try if anyone else cleared out the warehouse deals.
