As soon as these drop to £15 in the months/years to come I'm buying 8 for a LAN setup. The Xbox 360 supports VGA out, meaning it's pretty easy to get 22" monitors used for about £20 or less.

Get ready for flak.......it's a sin not to have an Xbox 1 apparently.

I picked one up about a month back...
It was in a bit of a bad way (flaps missing, scuffs), had the wrong power cable and the pad was filthy but (after modifying a std kettle cord) fully functional.
I got in touch about the cable and they sent me another AV cable, power brick and power cable so no real grumbles for the money

just gone for one fr my son (7yo) thanks op, heated
because £10 maybe? this is a great console especially if you don't have a lot of money or are buying for young ones. £10 can get you 4+ Decent games and I know which one I would rather have if I was a kid  Heat added OP.

The slim IS the same price (It reduces £10 at checkout)
MUCH better revision (quieter and more reliable)
As someone else said, grab a slim and RGH it :-)

One Xbox 360 controller is included, and if anything doesn't arrive with it call them. Customer service I've experienced from music magpie has been great the twice I've had to get in touch.

Just in case anyone is in doubt about this version of the Xbox 360, it has no built in WiFi and music magpie don't include the dongle to connect it to the internet. It will cost you about another £15 for a used WiFi dongle from cex or similar stores.
Bought one of these already from cex (was missing too many of my fav games that are not BC yet), and if I'm honest I play it more than my Xbox one!

May I ask what are the games you wanted to play and are not yet backward compatible?
And are there any other games that are not backward compatible that you recommend?

Me too but I bought an xbox original to play shenmue 2 and thats much better as you will not have all the emulation glitches, that are on the 360

The original shape models are out of stock now, only slim's left. The 360 was and is a fantastic console in all it's guises, perhaps even the best of all time in terms of it's catalog, easy to program for architecture and controller design.
Microsoft really had their head screwed on with the 360, Win 7, Office 2007 and the early days of Windows Phone. Now, not so much... Though Mr Gates is richer than ever, go figure...

 You use Media Centre?
I had no idea it was still supported.
These will do as well as a Fire Stick (except for the wifi & the size) with regards to media services & DLNA and the fact that they play games is just a bonus

Or just a network cable, they have that as a RJ45 port on the back, but that depends on how your cables run and if you have spare LAN ports nearby.
Just been bought a Xbox one as a present but I've still a ton of game to play on the 360 first not to mention the stack of Games with Gold on the Xbox One to work through..

Just to mention CEX offer a 2 years warranty instead, which is depending on how you think of it a better deal, esp with these xboxs as you don't know what you are getting until it arrives.

Or a 250gb slim for about £10 more: http://store.musicmagpie.co.uk/products/microsoft-xbox-360-slim-250-gb-black
Why would you get an older model?
