Heat added, I have a 20m unit but you don't always need that length of cable so this would be ideal.
These are extremely dangerous, PLEASE make sure when you use them you pull all the cable out otherwise they can get too hot and burst into flames.

Does depend on what you are powering, the thermal cut out should prevent overheating though. Being only 5 metres though it shouldnt get too hot even at 10amp.
