I was really nice and polite and highlighted that their mistake cost me loads of time. Being nice to the person on the phone really helps, I find.

I rang them yesterday. All the items in this sale were added to the system in error. Despite showing as having stock, and items selling out, the products simply did not exist.
That means (rather obviously) every order to be cancelled.
Had a polite chat about how frustrating this was, waste of time etc and a £20 gift card is on the way as an apology.
Worth a polite call.

Exactly as I said I just rang and all I got was sorry nothing we can do,I never get anything from Tesco when I ring to complain about stock issues.I don't know how people manage to get gift cards from them.

Assholes cancelled everyones orders man! I spent 2 hours trying to buy all the knickers n pj's to now have every single thing cancelled...got a good mind to never order again.

I think it's a load of rubbish what they are saying,I think some things were put on at a low price in error so they have just cancelled everything people ordered to make it easier for themselves.

had a call back from T. apparantly a technical error meant that all the sale stuff that appeared today were items that were not in stock.so nothing in the clearance will be delivered. worth a call in to politely lodge a complaint :wink:
