UK plan super was previously on Lycamobile for £15 which was a good deal . Now for £7.5 you will get unlimited UK min, Unlimited UK txts. ,100 international calls and when you exceed them rates start from 1p, 4 Gb 4G national data+ 1 Gb extra till end of April, 1000 texts (roaming) + 1000 min (roaming).
I have never used Lyca mobile before but due to the fact that I'm calling frequently abroad and quite a lot in the UK this is no brainer.
There are other bundles with reduced prices, but the only difference is data allowance, so for other they ma be more suitable like the one with 10 Gb+2 Gb free data till end of April for £15.
To get this price you must order sim card online.
I hope that this will be good deal for some,
This is my first post.

Initially I've been told by Lyca customer care that it will last. Then they told me that is jyst for 1 month. However £15 is still a great value for money if you calling abroad or travel frequently.

Terrible customer service, have tried 3 times, on wait for 30 minutes or so, but didn't manage to speak to any advisor. Definitely not worth it if that is their service.

I used to use Lyca, good value and signal 4G etc.. Only thing is that with data, you always appear to be roaming, even in UK ('R' icon next to your 4g) don't remember it causing too many problems, other than possibly iplayer thinks you're outside of UK and doesn't stream, you could get round this with an app

I think you will get discount for 01 month only & then it will be usual 15£? Will need that checking with customer care team.

You was right. I just change the title. Even though yesterday I've been told that the deal will last till sim card will be valid by customer service, I phoned again today and another advisor told me that it is for first month only. First advisor initially wasn't even aware about this deal anyway which was a bit suspicious.

I wasn't aware about these charges . To my taste that kind a charges should be investigated by ofcom.

Only thing with lyca, some operators charge people who call you. This does not affect the lyca owner but may irritate some of your callers, where their included minutes do not cover calls to lyca.

I remember when I was a three customer being charged for making calls to a Lyca number and never called them again. I think its because of where Lyca are based.
As for the deal itself, appears quite appealing if it remains at £7.50 per month. The 1000 roaming minutes needs a bit more clarity as it appears at the once you've placed the sim in your basket but gives no further information as to which countries are included, unless I missed it.

where do is state the 1000 roaming minutes can't seem find it and does that allow calls from Pakistan to UK as going on holiday in a few weeks may get this instead of messing about with a sim from there.

I believe this company has Directors who also have connections with Vectone. I've never had issues with Vectone but Lyca and Vectone have previously been slated on here for non existent aftersales/CS..

I spoke with lyca customer service and they told me that the price will not change for new customers. However, even if the price will change you will change the provider. You are not signing long term contract.
