I've been waiting a while for this TV to drop in price from the 2k mark. The set is listed as £1699 on their website but can be dropped to £1599 using the code TV100
I do not think it will fall much further than this without running out of stock quickly! Plus the 6 yr RS warranty is worth its weight in gold
enjoy!

I was interested but according to some reviews the gaming lag is atrocious (sad face)

it's now had a firmware update now apparently

Input lag is now better than the C6/E6/G6 after the recent update.
There is also a HDR game mode which I've been using with mass effect andromeda (PC - through Shield TV), it's not as bright as it should be though (standard HDR mode is much brighter) so hopefully they will sort this out in an upcoming update. I assume this will happen because a number of people are kicking off about it online, as is the way with these things nowadays.

Great deal, if you are looking for the lg sound bar to go with it Argos have this with the SH7 sound bar for 1699. Might help someone who wants to price match with John Lewis.

My prediction 18 months ago was 55" OLEDS would be dropping to around £1000 mark by Blackfriday this year. In retrospect I think I may have erred on the optimistic side

Bought one of these from Richer sounds a couple of weeks ago for £1,699 less £100 discount. got a free SH7 sound bar and Sky Q Multiroom free for a year, I thought that this was a cracking deal for a spectacularly good TV and I would suggest that you need to be on the ball to get one a lot cheaper as it's going to be a bit of a balancing act waiting for the price to drop before they go out of stock.

Does this code show anywhere on the site?

Yup. The B7 is making its way out, this will be OOS long before it reaches £1000.
The B7 is barely any different from what I can tell (just slightly better response time for games), so plenty people will still be buying this B6 to save a few hundred.

Think you're right - they must have stopped making them with new models coming on line so guess they are shifting remaining stock.

Especially as it's been about this before but with free sky q and a sound bar - I was hoping for £1200 without all the extras
