I have an LG there are options such as quick 30, which, by the time I've upped the degrees and spin tends to be 40 mins, as well as express 60. I tend to use those rather than the lengthy schedules. I can't remember the last time I used the 3 hour options.

No the standard warranty for LG is 2 years, on selected models they are offering 5 years which is a promo http://www.lg.com/uk/5yearwarranty
If you want an LG machine with a 5 year warranty is possible but you will be paying more than £300. Depends what you want.

Yes I think you will be looking mid £350 for an 8/9kg LG machine with 5 year warranty, which ao, currys, tesco etc will have probably within the next month or so.
