Very annoyed. Ordered online and order cancelled two hours later. PC World should be ashamed. Not even an offer of a voucher to compensate inconvenience. Retailers shouldn't be allowed to get away with it.

Collected in store this morning having reserved one yesterday, price error wasn't even mentioned. Had a £50 voucher from my employer so got this for £269. When I finally got it in the boot of the car I felt like I'd stole it! Very pleased.

I collected mine yesterday and they honoured the £319 price no questions. Well happy with the TV, an absolute bargain for a quality TV. If anyone has it reserved, I would head down to the store to collect ASAP.

I reserved online this morning before deciding to order online with the free delivery, but I couldn't resist dropping by after work to look instore and collected the reserved tv. Now I'm hoping that I get the cancellation email others are getting fairly soon so I won't have to hang about or be woken up by the delivery driver!

There is definitely something fishy going on as I received the same message by email that twixwolf had at 16.26 pm and then at 17.17 pm I received the same message as zed68 received. Despite having an email acknowledging my order at 10.23 am stating "Thank you for choosing to shop with PC World. We have received your recent order and it is currently being processed". Followed by a further email stating "We're pleased to confirm your PC WORLD order (PCW1724272283). We are now preparing your PC World order for delivery".
So looking at the times that people were still collecting their TVs in store and the time difference between me placing my order to receiving my cancellation emails and the discrepancy between the reason for the cancellation, it would appear to me that they had probably sold out of their current stock and were not able to source more supplies at this price to fulfill their home delivery orders? Just my thoughts but I am not happy with PC Worlds conflicting cancellation reasoning!!! I will definitely be following this up with them tomorrow morning. :disappointed:
Correction, I have just followed the link to the store and the TV is still showing as being available at the revised price of £419 or for £518.99 with the soundbar and HDMI cable!

I was terrified they'd cotton on so just quickly paid on my credit card and hurried home!!
Ideally would have wanted to do the paying in installments that they offer, and get some accidental damage cover but didn't.

Hi everyone.
I just narrowly missed out on this, please can I ask if anyone has a reservation (around London area) and has changed their mind please let me know as I am in dire need of a tv.
Just been in and collected one reserved at £319. Can confirm that as long as you give your reference number, the price will come up as £319, they shouldn't question it, however if they do, ensure you've got your reservation email and be prepared to do a little sweet talking. Was a fairly straight forward transaction. Step-father had the same, however his collection involved a conversation with the manager... so I guess there is a little luck of the draw as to the difficulty, but the bottom line is, it shouldn't be too difficult as long as you've got a reservation.

Because it's a premium brand, smart, 4K (even though RGBW type) TV with HDR. This price range usually nets you a Bush or a Cello.

Correct, it turns out with the pixel structure it makes this set around 3k because as you say one pixel is white hence the rgbw panel type so picture clarity and colour is lost.

I've read a couple of reviews online, seem to negative on the whole - although you can't argue with the price. I'm going to nip into my local PCWorld after work tonight and check one out, apparently they are out on display. If you do get one however, make sure you open it up and test it as soon as possible, I've read multiple reports of damaged screens etc on arrival...
I've just ordered one with 6 months interest free credit so they can't say pricing error when I would have collected it.
Great spot, cheers OP.

Got the 43 inch version and this is a very good price. Very impressed by the wealth of features it has - Sat and Freeview Tuner included. The drawback is that it's not the easiest TV to use. If you want effortless use of a smart TV this may not be for you.
