How good is this compared to the crown and dulux equivalent?

This is excellent quality paint with good coverage and at an excellent price. I used it widely in our previous house before moving.

I'd suggest crown over this currently £12 a tub at home base

I'm not too sure going for crown there quality is abit hit and miss if u don't buy it from there own stores usually the trade stuff is better than the normal stuff. but I'm a bit curious as when stuff is on offer it seems to be of essential quality I have seen this a few times or is it just my imagination.

Thanks OP this stuff isnt much better than the 10 L tubs that you buy in the DIYs for 12/14 quid, (Crown and own brands) they are all watery and have a bare amount of pigment in them. None of them have Vinyl in them which is what makes emulsion paint durable and allows for a reasonable amount of cleaning. Most emulsiuons used to have Vinyl in them untill it became more profitable to stop adding it.
