Anyone had any joy with a OTG cable? I can connect to a PC using the USB-C but no joy with a standard OTG (micro USB) and a USB-C/micro USB adapter trying to connect a pendrive.

I don't really know because I haven't, and probably never will use mine with headphones, but on EU region devices there is supposed to be a headphone volume limit for mobile devices, mp3 players, tablets etc. From my limited experience it's set really low - it's only been a problem for me connecting an MP3 player to a car stereo. But sometimes there is a way to unlock the volume limit, like there was with my MP3 player. I don't have any idea if there is some sort of hidden unlock for this, but that is what I would be searching for. Failing that, maybe installing a third party firmware, which I think are available for this model, would be a solution.

The speakers are brilliant however when listening through headphones for some reason the sound is not loud and quality is rubbish. My phone is way better when I put the headphones in. Also big problem with Showbox app. Video playsback fine on it can hear normal sound but barely can hear when anyone speaks. Does anyone know how I can resolve the issue and whether anyone else has experienced that problem.

nope i only ever had bought one.....i got a terrible signal reception at home and call was dropped twice until the third time that stayed on as i went into the garden for signal :-). Tab was for my wife and she really loves the built-in stand feature......

I spoke to customer service on live chat earlier and they kept me waiting while they "spoke with supplier". Some hold up with supplier but should release today. Still shows as pending....

Yeah, I missed the offer from Lenovo over the Easter break for £229 considering there is development on this tablet, it means to me it adds longevity to it, because I don't expect Lenovo to update this tablet at all. For me I had an eye on this if it hit below £200 I would snap it. Now just got to wait.

They do have the discount showing in the general search when you put in 'Lenovo Yoga Tab 3' in their search bar. It says the full price is £317.63, but that is scratched out in favour of the £249 price and says "save £68.73" in red text.

odd that Tesco don't advertise it as being discounted at £249...

Bought this direct from Lenovo last week for £229. Battery life,sound and screen are all superb. Cheap price is due to Tab4 being released in May but the specs on the Tab3 are better anyway so well done to those who got it for £179.

John Lewis contacted Tesco about the misprice. SoTesco suddenly went oos and JL says can't price match due to oos. Then Tesco back in stock at full price.

Great tablet, great screen and perfect for movies. Odd shape, so cases are rubbish. Buy a pouch for taking it out and about. Battery life stonking, I had one of these. Downside you will be stuck with android 6 for a long while if not forever. Lenovo do not promise updates. But for £180 I would buy two and leave one in the loo.

There is a cast (or mirror screen) option in the Display settings of the Yoga 2 HD tablet, pretty sure the same exists in the Tab 3.

By the way showbox always crashes on my Lenovo tablet within a few secs of opening the app, any idea what might be the reason ?

This is a QHD display so yes the bullet point spec is wrong on website.

For media consumption (via showbox etc) the screen and speaker along with the well designed stand are awesome especially for the price.

So much misinformation in this comment section. The technical specification on Tesco's website is also incorrect.
That is how it works. Curry's rep was most likely going off the technical specification which has no business stating it supports casting using third part devices such as chromecast since its not a lenovo product.

A bit of downside to me is that it lacks camera. Other specs are quite good. I think the screen resolution stated in the description is not correct. Well, you have to buy it to know it. Voted hot anyway.

Really? Not heard that. Thought you just use the google home app and that takes care of it on any modern android device? Even my old 4 year old samsung tab supports it!

I thought you meant to mirror the screen from the tablet to another. So the target needs an hdmi port not the source.

actually mine was only the 16gb so this is a far better deal imo

bought mine for 180 after xmas , sound quality is good. battery life is fab. bought mine for showbox and kodi, whatsapp and messages..
slows down a bit compared to the tab2 but all in all very good unit.
