Level packs tend to be anywhere from £19.99 to £25. The MI level pack goes through the first Mission Impossible movie (takes about 20 minutes) and opens up the MI portal.
Ethan Hunt has a number of capabilities (blows things up, climbs walls like WyldStyle, grapple gun like Batman, invisibility and a flying drone like Doc Brown - http://dimensions-builder.com/character/ethan-hunt) which makes him a great character to have.

Homer has the sonar ability (same as Benny from Lego Movie) to break through "glass brick" walls and super strength.
Essential character if you're looking to 100% the game. No other character can use the disguise pads or the fuse boxes, and his combination of underwater and other abilities are unique. The vehicle also has flying drone access, again unique so far and required for a gold brick.

Can't recommend this enough - fantastic level, great hub world and the character is super useful (you forgot to mention he can go underwater, which is INCREDIBLY useful).
