includes more items including chopped tomatoes.

Saw this deal in store as they stacked various cans all 400g.

good price but the tomatoes tend to be very thin, watery and lacking in taste in my experience. OK in curries but not so good in something like a ragu where you want tomato flavour. Easily remedied by adding more tomato puree or even sauce

Good spot OP. I've been buying the Kidney Beans for years and the quality is very good.

Yes it is the same price in Morrisons but normally Morrisons gives you three for £1 so well done Asda for turning up the competition. :sunglasses:

can comment on the chopped tomatoes as we use daily and have been using it for at least 4 years.
No issues with the quality. same applies to chick peas but use maybe a can or 2 per month.

Chopped tomatoes is what we stock up. :sunglasses:

Whereabouts do they normally stock them in Asda? Took me ages to find them in Morrisons (staff had no idea!) as not with other tinned veg - found in Indian section with the basmati rice. Had assumed they didn't stock it previously.

same place in my local. Where they have rice, oil etc.. We have a small Asda but they did make space for the various cans.
