As a loyal Colonel’s Club member, we’re excited to invite you in for an exclusive free tour of our kitchen to see where the finger-lickin’ magic happens. On 6th May, come and see with your own eyes the care and quality that goes into every succulent piece of fried chicken. You’ll see how we prepare our delicious Original Recipe chicken, and learn how to create one of our famous burgers before getting stuck into your own handmade meal afterwards. It doesn’t stop there. You’ll also get a chicken cheque for a free meal the next time you’re in and a KFC branded apron to wear in your own kitchen. See you soon, The Colonel’s Club Team

We had a great time too - again there were no shows, sad really as they phoned everyone to check they were coming yesterday. Only 6 on our tour and out of those one woman brought her 10 yr old daughter. She managed to convince them to let her stay saying she didn't see 'over 18' anywhere on tickets etc (even though it was) - fed her a meal and all the goodies then at the end gave here a 'never-ending' free dessert voucher! I wouldn't have minded but my 11yr old daughter was quite upset when I told her she couldn't go - I wished I'd have taken her now. Apparently I'm an expert chicken coater! oO so much so I was asked if I'd worked for KFC before lol!

Had THE most amazing time! I asked a gazillion questions. But they were mega helpful, welcoming and friendly. I was dismayed to see though, that there were no shows :disappointed:

From KFC:

It won't be raw. From what i understand it's prefried. And the contestants just dip it in yet more batter and refry the poor thing..
And that means KFC won't be getting any lawsuits for food poisoning..

All London ones are sold out. No doubt tickets are going to be available on eBay at extortionate prices.. this is a one off event and i suspect the freebies will be worth big big bucks.
It's a shame i couldn't get tickets.. I'm a big KFC fan..
Have some heat.. with kindest regards

To be clear, although this is not my sort of thing. I have voted this hot as some people are fine with going round kitchens and so getting the free meal and apron is great. Just not for me.
Now, if you had an offer where I go round the supermarket, then you're talking as I can go round the supermarket all day long X)

Did you ever see that series where they went to different branches and you saw behind the scenes and the staff etc,it was good tv.

Yeah, but that's just a PR stunt though, isn't it? The extra effort to demonstrate how clean their kitchens are to Joe Public possibly doesn't reflect the day-to-day reality.

To me this is not free as I wouldn't go round the kitchens even you paid me as well as give me the free meal. It is their effort to demonstrate that their kitchens are clean and up to standards so as compensation for inspecting their kitchen, you are paid a free meal and are given an apron as a keepsake to commemorate the memorable time that you had been to one of KFC's kitchen.

I'd bet their kitchens are 1000 times cleaner than 99% of independents .. Mcdonalds procedure is to strip and clean the kitchen every 24 hours! I cant see my local chinese doing that

Aside from the free food, not sure why people would want to do this. Are deep fat fryers sexy now or something...?

See this on here, do a postcode search, discover it's unavailable in Greater Manchester now, only to get an email from KFC advertising this pish.........Needless to say I told their marketing department exactly what I thought of their timing.
