Absolute rubbish, I've had mine for about 6 years and counting, and mine was from the Karcher refurbish outlet!

That's because they have a plastic cylinder head that warps if it gets too hot from over use without allowing to cool. The head will also crack if stored over winter in freezing conditions without first emptying it.
It's shouldn't be a hardship to use and store it correctly but they're cheap and easy to fix for anyone with a modicum of common sense.

I've two Karcher washers both 20 years old and both still workin with only the hose havin to be replaced on the bigger one, the other smaller square one has been hooked on my back garden fence and it's been the for over ten years winter and summer without fail so I'd have no problems with buyin another Karcher washer if i needed one.
