Bought the same one last year with a code for £49 - don't think there is a code this time around. Good deal for the price but not that powerful

On a mobile sorry, so posting to bookmark for later. How does this price hold up against previous deals? Thanks

Not sure but everybody is running promotions but I can't find a k2 anywhere else below £69. Plus this has free accessories!

Been looking to buy one of these.
Please can someone advise if this particular model is powerful enough for cleaning paving and patio areas?
Are there correct and suitable accessories in this package to do this?
Have a very old karcher as a hand me down and it's really really slow at cleaning paving slabs currently.

Not by itself. I did my patio with one recently. The regular lance will take forever to do it. I had the turbo lance (which this package doesn't have) which increases the power and it was still pretty slow going. The turbo lance makes it come out in a swirling pattern. It's much stronger but you have to go slower to cover all the area.
Best way to do a patio is to soak an area in detergent for 20 mins before spraying. This should do an acceptable job if used this way.
The small K2 doesn't have a cooled motor so if you are using it for long times, it won't last as many years as a bigger one.

Is this the compact or full control. Judging from how it looks it seems like the compact one which isn't worth as much?

Bought for £41.50 with Clubcard points! Will be collecting tomorrow! So will be giving it a blast this weekend! It has good reviews and powerful enough for decking and cars..... Good find indeed!

Hi ya, how did you manage to buy this for £41.50 with Clubcard vouchers? Can you help us with the math so others can save few more quid?

Hi Kingpete,
I had vouchers to use against my clubcard so I used whatever was on it. So depends what you have saved on your account from shopping at Tesco. So tbh it all depends on how much you shop at Tesco and how much you have used your club card and how much you have on it.
Also to note I had not registered my card online but it took me a few moments to register it with the clubcard number.
Hope this helps and happy to answer any questions.

I phoned karcher before I bought this yesterday because it's not on their website. They said it's exactly the same as the K2 Basic B&Q are selling but with extra accessories. It's a special promo model so won't be around for long.

i got this offer last summer, after first use i thought it was necessary to upgrade the detergent bottle as the one you get is rather small (£15 for bigger on Amazon) and purchase a longer hose(on tesco direct site @ £35) but luckily tesco were still doubling vouchers at that time and i had a load

Has anyone bought this and received it, just opened mine and it comes with the car spray nozzle but it's missing the grey bottle what gets attached to it, as displayed in the image?

Mines missing it too... box was sealed but it's not in there!

On the Tesco website under features it has an N against the tank.
Anyone know why this doesn't come with a suction pump? Or is it missing?

Picked this up today, nice bit of kit, cleaned my engine bay and snow foamed the car... Gets through about half a bottle though.

Surely it's false advertising if it's pictured as having that grey bottle? Picking mine up today.

Rang Tesco who were helpful and advised someone else had already queried it. Have to wait a couple of days for a response from the warehouse team. I guess hopefully they can just source a detergent bottle.

For those that own 1, Is this powerful enough to wash the car properly?
davers1875 to magough
5 May 17#40
yes, more than enough, but as i said earlier if you don't want to wash the car without having to keep lifting the washer as you go then an extension hose is required, which is £35 on the tesco site and ideal

The chap's colleagues asked the other guy to chase it but it looks like it's advertised incorrectly rather than missing from the box. Will wait for a definitive answer.
EDIT: Received a call back, Tesco state that Karcher changed the package without notifying them. An internal note has gone around to advise that they'll be changing the description and removing picture 4. The chap was quite keen to blame Karcher and suggested it would only likely be a small charge directly from Karcher. I did make the point that either way, although I'm not blaming him personally, intentionally or not the goods are not as described.
Can anyone find the item for sale separately?

Looks like the image has been updated. The kit includes a foam nozzle that connects to the detergent bottle and you can always refill it, so it's essentially the same thing.

does anyone recommend using this to clean the outside windows of a house? I have a problem with spider webs on the 1st floor but want something easy to blast at them and clean the windows at the same time.
JayR123 to gobby88
17 May 17#44
Won't work. By the time it gets up there the spray will be too spread out and not strong enough for either. Anything more than about one meter away, it will just get wet and not clean. The lance isn't adjustable to a thin stream.

But you use the detergent bottle as the tank...
Like so...
