I used to fly from Leeds Bradford to Belfast regularly to see family till they dumped that route. Shame. Agree they have changed their routes in the last few years. The point is still that this is a flight not a holiday and I like a daytime flight. I've flown with jet2 all over the place because it is convenient for where I live. If I'm booking a package holiday, I don't mind being picked up from the airport and reaching the hotel at night. If I am travelling independently and have to make my own way to my final destination in a place I do not know, I'd rather do that in the day time. I hate landing home in the middle of the night. This stems from a flight a few years ago from gran canaria which was due to depart at four in the afternoon. They (not jet2 Thomson) changed this to eight at night after we had booked. It eventually turned up at midnight and we landed in Manchester at 4am. I had to be at work in Leeds at eight.

Jet2 don't do domestic routes do they?
The Jersey route from LBA is a CTA route, but not classed as a domestic route.

Each to his own. This is a flight not a holiday. I use them mainly for domestic flights and I'd rather not be hanging round the airport at daft times

Well, to me getting more time at the destination by getting there early is more important than getting back home late.
I'd rather have more time spent overseas for the money.

And arrive home at 4am??

Clearly you failed to understand the reason for my post. All the flights out of London are much more expensive than anywhere else. Furthermore, most of the posts on here will have flights up north or wherever

£25 one way and £60 return so averaging £85 for return flight! So normal price then! Marketing nonsense!
