I've been looking at getting a turntable system and read the exact same thing about the Crosley players

Unfortunately you need to spend £100+ for a decent quality turntable :/

Apparently the Audio Technica LP60 is a good buy for £99 ....... I think I'm going to go with the Pro-Ject Elemental due to space

As starter sets go they're perfectly fine. You could probably find a half decent one on eBay.

If you buy this, I'd highly recommend spending £30 on getting a good needle, otherwise your £20 vinyl will be trashed after a few plays.

So ... you buy records to enjoy their purer sound compared to digital music, only to then compress it into a digital Bluetooth stream to listen to it? Uh-huh.
