can anyone recommend a decent priced one of this caliber for the PS4. I missed out on the Smyths one because they canceled my order. looking for an alternative at this price point :/

This one should work with PS4 as it's a 3.5mm connection into the controller just the same.

There's some Siberia Elite Prism ones on sale at Game at the moment. £120 down to £28. I'd take those over these for any device.

As far as I know this is the same as the cloud 2 except the cloud 2 comes with a usb soundcard adapter for 7.1 surround sound! The Xbox banding is just marketing! I bought the cloud 2 from smyths for £39.99 in-store 2 days ago and I'm really impressed with it so far on my ps4! Trusted reviews gave it 9/10 @ £75 price.
The sound is much better using the usb connection rather than plugging it in the controller! Mainly played bf1, not surr if it is 7.1 but in my humble opinion it seems "flatter" through the controller! Best analogy I can think of is a thick duvet vs a flat cotton sheet!

One negative about the Cloud II is you need the Official Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter to connect them to the controller, while these you do not?

You don't need if your controller has the 3.5mm jack.

Bought these and can confirm that they also do not come with the adapter.

Also this comes with a hard-shell carrying case, while the Cloud II only comes with a mesh bag. Although the Cloud II has 7.1 Virtual Surround Sound, while this does not.

Really looking for a good headset with mic. How good is the noise cancelling on these?

The Siberia Elite Prism have negative reviews on Amazon. I think you are better with these or the Cloud II.

Great deal - missed out on the Cloud 2 one so this was perfect timing. Picked up earlier and tested just with music at work so far - they sound incredible (even for £80). Well pleased
