You will need a US account for this, goes live at 7pm BST

THQ Nordic has teamed up with PlayStation for the Humble THQ Nordic PlayStation Bundle, a new limited-time promotion from HumbleBundle.com. This is only the second time that games on PSN have been available at Humble Bundle, after the popular Capcom bundle last year.

The bundle will feature over $334 worth of games from THQ Nordic. Some are for PS3 and some are for PS4 (SIEA PSN regions only). Like all Humble Bundles, it’s a brief offering, and will only be available from 11:00am PT on April 4, 2017 until 11:00am PT on April 18, 2017.

Not only are a bunch of great games up for grabs, but the bundle also supports Hand in Hand International, a charity that nurtures grassroots entrepreneurship to fight poverty in over 14 countries (and counting).

If you’re not familiar with how Humble Bundles work, you choose how much you want to pay, with higher tiers unlocking more games. No matter how much you decide to pay, you can allow the default split of your payment, or you can choose where the money goes – between the developer, Humble Bundle, the featured charity, or even a charity of your choice from their database of over 30,000 options.

The following games are included in the bundle:

For $1 or more, you get:

The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 (PS4) – Every world needs its heroes, however unlikely they may seem. Join Wilbur, Ivo, Nate, and Critter in another classic point-and-click adventure in the wicked world of Aventásia.

Red Faction (PS4) – Red Faction revolutionizes gaming with Geo-Mod technology, the ability to completely alter and destroy the environment in real-time. Featuring 5 controllable vehicles, 15 weapons of mass destruction, unparalleled multiplayer action, and a setting on Mars in the midst of a deadly plague and rebellion, Red Faction sets the gold standard in gaming!

Super Dungeon Bros. (PS4) – Super Dungeon Bros. is a rock-themed dungeon brawler where a band of mighty rock bros must navigate the fantasy realm of Rökheim and its hellish dungeons to seek out epic loot, fight hordes of evil undead and uncover the legends of long lost fabled Rock Stars!

Deponia (PS4) – Daedalic Entertainment invites the players into a fantastic comedy adventure that revolves around a crazy love story of Rufus and Goal. Features a unique comic style with hand-drawn HD resolution 2D graphics, challenging puzzles, and hours of dialogue.

ArcaniA: The Complete Tale (PS4) – The empire of Mirjana is in turmoil. The power-hungry king has set out to conquer the southern islands – no matter what the cost. In the add-on “Fall of Setarrif,” Aragon’s fate, once more, teeters on the edge of your sword. Face your destiny and make a path to Stearic blocked by monsters, churning streams of lava, deadly dungeons and a frantic population in desperate need of help!

If you “beat the average” price for the bundle, you’ll get all the above plus:

Legend of Kay Anniversary (select either PS3 or PS4) – 10 years after its initial release, Legend of Kay – Anniversary is a thoroughly remastered version of the original game. Full of fond allusions to old martial arts films and pop culture quotes, Legend of Kay – Anniversary is both an incredibly funny game and a challenging action-adventure for young and old alike.

Battle Worlds Kronos (PS4) – Battle Worlds: Kronos is a classic turn-based strategy game in the tradition of Battle Isle, Advance Wars and

Panzer General. Features Live Multiplayer – battle your friends live on the internet (cross-platform) or via hot-seat – and Asynchronous Multiplayer.

Destroy All Humans! (PS4) – Take on the role of alien Cryptosporidium 137 and terrorize the people of Earth to harvest their DNA in the most brazen action-adventure you’ve ever played. Take over all of humanity using a variety of alien weaponry on land or in the air.

Destroy All Humans! 2 (PS4) – Assume the role of the human-hating alien Crypto once again, in the sci-fi action adventure spoof. Take revenge on humanity for destroying your mothership. “Make War, not Love” and take on new enemies such as secret agents, giant creatures, Soviet Forces and even ninja warriors in an expanded open-world.

Pay $15 or more to get everything above plus:

MX vs. ATV Supercross (PS3) – Rip, jump and scrub your way around 17 tracks and try to cross the finishing line first against more than 40 official riders and harvest all that motocross glory. Choose between bikes or ATVs, multiple game modes including Career, Single races and various local and online multiplayer events.

Darksiders (PS3) – Deceived by the forces of evil into prematurely bringing about the end of the world, War the first Horseman of the Apocalypse must take on the forces of Hell, forge uneasy alliances with the very demons he hunts, and journey across the ravaged remains of the Earth on his quest for vengeance and vindication.

Darksiders II (PS3) – Awakened by the End of Days, Death, the most feared of the legendary Four Horsemen, embarks on a quest to redeem his brother’s name. Become the terrifying force which everything fears but nothing can escape.

MX vs. ATV Supercross Encore (PS4) – Rip, jump and scrub your way to victory with over 35 tracks in this vastly extended version! Only the Encore edition features the brand new Rhythm Racing mode, extra outdoor Nationals tracks, and exclusive Waypoint races in open world maps.

Darksiders Warmastered (PS4) – This remaster features native 1080p rendering resolution, doubled texture resolutions, rendering improvements and rework, post processing effects, 60 FPS gameplay, and more.

Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition (PS4) – The Deathinitive Edition features Darksiders II with all DLC integrated into the game, which offers a total playtime of more than 30 hours; reworked and tuned game balancing and loot distribution; improved Graphic Render Engine for higher visual quality; and more.

Same here, Destroy All Humans was fun and currently on sale on the UK store for just over £6 each, that is a reasonably good price already, but for £12ish for the whole bundle you are basically getting everything else for free.

I think everyone, literally everyone who owns a PS4 should get the $1 bundle, there really is no reason not to at that price and it gives a nice assortment of random games to pick up and try at some point. If we ignore all that and look at the other two bundles, both the other tiers individually are easily worth the £12 of the top tier.

Destroy All Humans 1&2 have to be worth at least a tenner if you are into those, add on the other two and it is worth £12 easy.

Darksiders 1&2 have to be worth £12 minimum for PS4, maybe a bit less on PS3, but you also get MXvsATV so even PS3 that bundle of games is worth £12.

Now considering that for £12ish you aren't getting one or the other, you are getting all of this, the full package is a steal.

Yes just create a USA account, then make that account a primary on your PS4 or PS3. Then you will be able to play the games on your main account and be able to collect trophy's and play with friends.
ST3123
4 Apr 17 #16
What happens if you game share though and hence already have another account set as the primary? Would you still be able to have the third US account and be able to play the games on your main account (for trophies etc)?

Don't know why Humble don't offer this for UK users though?

Tempted to complain as if enough people do might encourage then to reach a deal with Sony UK....
ST3123
4 Apr 17 #17
As my post though what happens if you already have another account as primary e.g. game sharing? Would you have to keep switching the primary account between the UK and US account? or be logged in on the US account to play the US games? and hence trophies etc don't go on your right account. I don't see any elegant solution....
Westwoodo

Amazingly yes.
teddy1590
4 Apr 17 1 #19
You can have multiple accounts on your PS4, with your PS4 set as the primary console Can only have one Primary console per account though.

So, make the US account, set your PS4 as the primary console for it, redeem code, download games, then play them on your Main/ Gamesharing account.

ST3123
4 Apr 17 #24
Sorry, i must be missing something or particularly dense on this but I still don't see how it would work in my case. As mentioned I gameshare with a friend and have their ac as primary on my console (and they do the reverse on theirs) so we can play each others purchased games. Surely if I go and make a US account and make that primary I lose access to my friends purchases, at least until I switch the primary account again?

I suppose I could just switch primary account as needed, but I suspect there is a limit on doing that?

Wish humble would just do a UK version....

4 Apr 17 1 #26
You can have multiple accounts with your PS4 set as primary console.
So, you can have your main gameshare account with your PS4 set as the primary console, and a US account with your PS4 set as primary console.

Basically, can have multiple accounts per console, but only one "Primary console" per account. Your friend won't get these humble bundle games on their console, but both your accounts will still work fine for gamesharing.

There are loads on eBay, but beware of who you buy from. Many want personal details after payment before they send them. Passport details/Phone numbers etc. I'm sure many are legit (CDKeys do it) but use caution.

4 Apr 17 1 #59
Oh definitely! I have it on Xb360 (freebie), PS3, pc and now XB1 (the remaster) so glad I didn't buy it for the PS4 as its now in the bundle!

Darksiders 2 is half decent, felt a bit slow on the Wii U, so I am glad I have it on the PS4 now, might be a better experience. I did not have a chance to play it on the PS3
copperspock

I just finished Darksiders Warmastered today and really enjoyed it. Really good story line and lots of puzzles and boss fights. I paid about £18 each for that and Darksiders II and think they have both been worth it. If I didn't own them already I'd definitely go for the $15/£12.50 tier

If anyone is buying this for the $1 point and click adventure games (like me...) then you desparately need to check this out:

Thimbleweed Park - THE GAME

I feel a bit like Stan the Previously Owned Vessel salesman saying this but...

http://vignette4.wikia.nocookie.net/monkeyisland/images/1/16/Stan_vessels.gif/revision/latest?cb=20120508160429

...it's a brand new point and click adventure from the writer of Monkey Island (and also Monkey Island 2) (but not "Monkey Island 3", "4" etc.).

It is genuinely fantastic - it feels like the first time I've been home in 20 years.

I only see about 4 or 5 Games I'm interested in but you can't beat the price !

Ps plus needs to start offering games like these for the free monthly games. They haven't had any good free games in a long time IMO.
China on the other hand has been getting games like
The ORDER:1886
Until dawn
Infamous 2nd son
And other awesome games that were released over a year ago.

Its def worth having accounts for certain areas setup.

And to the one person here that made the comment about it being illegal?

Lmao!! R u serious dude?
Its not like people are telling you where to go to pirate games and movies or how to go about doing it.

Smh. Also you dont need a VPN, I dnt think I've ever read a comment where some one doesn't like use of VPNs. You come across like you feel its wrong to use them.
O well to each is own.

The he'll with what Sony likes. Nothing is illegal about anything mention above.

Purchased and redeemed on my Canadian account rather than my US account as I only have demos on my USA account. My Canadian account has nearly as many games as my UK account thanks to some irresistible discounts on the Canada PSN store. I like the way they lump the game codes together in one key, convenient and makes it harder for ebay scallywags profiting from a charity.

No, but it would be a good idea to keep the US account username password combo safe, in case you need it in the future. Once the games download to your PS4, you can play them from your main/ primary account
Carl1892
5 Apr 17 #89
Would it be worth setting up a Canadian account rather than a U.S. account for this as on the Humble Bundle link it says you can do it through a Canadian one. Just thinking a Canadian one might be better considering the deals they get that are posted on here from time to time?

If you're already gamesharing (your mate's account is your primary, you log in as secondary on your PS4 and vice-versa) then this won't work - this is basically gamesharing with yourself (US and UK PSN accounts).

Damn, this is what I thought would happen but teddy1590 was sure it would be fine so i went ahead and bought the top tier, now I can't use it?

I suppose I could still play them if I have the US account logged in? but then I wouldn't earn trophies (on main account) and they are kind of important, I don't tend to play games I can't earn trophies on.

Suppose I could ask humble for a refund as I haven't redeemed anything yet but I would feel kind of bad doing that since it benefits charity...
Carl1892
5 Apr 17 1 #94
Done it via creating a U.S. account for now, thanks. Went for the $15 option as been meaning to pick up both Darksiders anyway.

One question though, on the 'How to set up a U.S. PSN account' link, it says you have to activate the account as the Primary account. But it was activated as the Primary by default for me?

You can. I have a Canadian account and it all redeemed fine. It's dead easy to set up and you can play the games on your UK account.

5 Apr 17 #97
Basically I'd keep your account as secondary and you'll just need to logout and login with the US account whenever you want to play these games. Not exactly a massive inconvenience, you'll just need to do a bit of swapping. Still less hassle than switching out discs, tbh.

Darksiders worth a go then? I have so many games on my virtual shelf.

I was sort of happy to move away from PC gaming because I had ammassed over 300 games partly due to humble and steam sales.

Moving to PS4 and costly games made me finish more games until the end.
Then came sales.....then came ps+ and now.......noooooooo humble bundle PSN.....geeez.....if ever there is a nuclear fallout I'm gunna have over a thousand games waiting for me to play...just wish I had all the time to play em all.......ohh well, gotta catch em all........BUY!

You can use the games on your main profile.... you can keep your main profile as primary on the ps4/3 - you just need to make the new US one use that ps3/4 as its primary device and then download and you can use the games on any profile - I have 2 uk ones and 1 jap and 1 US set up... I only ever play on one profile (except for one game)... trophies and everything work fine.

So which of these games are worth playing? I already have a backlog of games I've bought and not started!

Had a read about them all, Deponia is the only one interesting at the moment. Destroy All Humans looks fun but I can imagine I'd get bored of it after an hour or so, I do that with most games that inherit PS2 limitations.

Come on, they would never do that. Imagine the negative press. And for what? I'm not even sure it'd be legal to exclude your valid purchases.

Redeemed and installed the games on a US account on my PS4. Switched users to my main UK account, won't let me play the games. Little padlock symbol on the 'start' button and brings up an error message saying I don't hold a licence.

I don't understand because I've played other US PSN games this way (last I remember was Walking Dead season 2 which worked fine this way). No trophies for my main account I guess then :disappointed:

luvclub
5 Apr 17 1 #127
It wouldn't matter. It is just a case of common sense. They would not ban people for having both US and UK accounts as for all they know someone could have immigrated to the UK from the US and wanted to keep both accounts and their games. Or maybe someone lives in the UK during part of the year and the US for the rest due to work or education.
luvclub
5 Apr 17 1 #128
It is very easy for some PS4 owners to get confused by your statement.

Multiple accounts from multiple countries could be registered and saved to a particular console. However you do not make an account a primary on the console. This gives the wrong impression that the console would have one primary account. It is the opposite and that you register the console as the primary console for each account.

Therefore if you have 10 different accounts then you could log into each one and select the console as the primary console for every account. This enables any downloaded games by any account to be selected and played (earning trophies) by any other account on the same console.

5 Apr 17 #129
I just created a new psn ID on my tablet, then started a new user on my PS3 and created the the profile with my USA ID, and it's downloading ok, but I've yet to see if they'll run on my UK profile
luvclub
5 Apr 17 2 #130
It has been tried and tested by many people so it definitely would be playable under your UK profile. Just make sure that the console is selected as the Primary Console in the settings within the US profile.
reddragon105
5 Apr 17 2 #131
There probably is such a clause but against T&C is not the same thing as illegal. They'd reserve the right to do whatever they would do with your account (close it, limit it, etc.) but they couldn't prosecute you for anything - you couldn't get arrested or charged with a crime. The fact that you can use a US account on a UK console is a feature provided by Sony for people who move to or visit other countries, so the onus would be on them to prove that you weren't actually in the US when you created it, and judging from the fact that so many people have been doing this for so long and they haven't clamped down on it, it seems like they don't care too much. It is just a way for you to give them more money, after all.
cannibalwombat
5 Apr 17 #132
Not sure, do I need to set the US account as primary?
copperspock
5 Apr 17 #133
It's the console that's primary/secondary, not the accounts. So yeah set your console as primary and you'll be good to go.
chezybezy
5 Apr 17 #134
Would someone be able to clarify,
How I understand it you assign the usa account to your ps4 as primary, dl and play on the uk one. You can only assign usa to 1 console for this.
So how would this work if I wanted to use my ps3? Cos if it's assigned to the ps4, and you can only have this done once, you can't do it for ps3.
How can I use my ps4 and ps3 for these?

Just login to your PS3 and the titles will appear on the download list, assuming you are using the same PSN account as the PS4

5 Apr 17 2 #137
For those who don't seem to get this:

You can create a US account on your PS4, set it to primary and purchase this pack.

If like me you gameshare and your PS4 isn't your primary for your own account, it doesn't matter, as your US account will be primary, your UK account will be able to play them (but the person you game share with wont)

Also recommend setting up Hong Kong and Japanese accounts too.

chezybezy
6 Apr 17 #148
So the us account can be assigned to primary console on both the ps4 and ps3 at the same time?
nige182
6 Apr 17 3 #149
You can assign a PS Vita, PS3 and PS4 (one of each) as primary consoles for any account.
PS Vita is pointless for cross region as you have to factory reset the Vita each time you change profile, but both PS3 and PS4 you do not.
A PS3 and PS4 can be assigned as primary console for multiple accounts but each account can only have ONE primary console of each.

I hope that clarifies it for everyone.

Update:
All games installed on the console hard drive are visible to all profiles using the console, but any not downloaded are only visible to the profile that purchased them.
With PS3 and PS4, once a download is started, you can log out of the account and log into another account and it will continue to download in the background. So you can for instance set up all these downloads and then while they are downloading, swap to your main account and play something.
tonybannon
6 Apr 17 #150
And just to clarify - you need to *download* them on your console from the US account for them to be visible/playable in your UK account. And for me the opposite was true, all my UK games seem to be playable in my US account

Certainly for my PS4 anyway... not sure about PS3
nige182
6 Apr 17 #151
Thanks, it is the same on PS3 so I have added that, also on PS3 (and I believe PS4 as well though can't remember trying), once a download is started you no longer have to be logged onto the account that set up the download, it will continue in the background even if you log out and into another account. Useful if you want to play something whilst these download.

I got the $1 bundle to check it worked and then wanted to upgrade to the $15 but it won't let me, saying that the transaction was cancelled. I assume it's because I'm getting the bundle 'again' essentially as it's one code, but I thought there would be a way to just upgrade rather than just buy again :disappointed:

6 Apr 17 #157
Thanks for post, ordered last night and worked as per usual on USA account (PS4), first time bought top tier, but well worth it! great set of games for just over £12. Can confirm all games came under ONE key, not a problem to me, but as previous poster said, cant resell any duplicated games you may have.
nige182
6 Apr 17 3 #158

Was a little worried at first as I got a xbox 360 banned for downloading free games from a different region but ive gone for the full package which is downloading now for £12.43 ,console already setup as primary so hope they work while signed in on the Uk.

Great deal but already bought Destroy All Humans in the Easter Sale! Since it downloaded (not played), I guess I can't get a refund. Right now I have two versions of the same game installed. Well... I'm glad I didn't buy both games in one go. The deal means you can play Legend of Kay on PS3 and PS4, so I am happy to see some PS3 games included.

11 Apr 17 #168
Not necessary to make primary, I have had this debate with so many ppl on reddit. Basically I have UK account which I stream from and every other account goes secondary. So in this case my US account was added a secondary user. I logged in to us account, redeemed code and installed all games. Then I logged into uk account (always primary) and started playing to get trophies etc.

I don't know where the advice for changing primary accounts first popped up but it is unnecessary.

My uk account has ps+ but isn't something that should affect this
nige182
11 Apr 17 1 #169
You are thinking of primary in different terms to we are meaning here, you are thinking primary as in first account on the console, or the main one you use or auto-login to. We are talking about the primary console for an account, not the primary account you use.

For example, if your PS4 console is the only one that you have ever logged that US account into, then your console is primary for the US account and it will work as you described and is why most people have no issues. If you ever change console though, you need to log into the new console with every account you use and make the new console the primary console for all other region accounts. Your primary account, the one you play on, doesn't matter as you can access that content on any console you are logged into with that account anyway.

So for those who game share, they will have someone elses console as the primary console for their account, but they can still set their own console to auto-login on their account if they choose.
teddy1590
11 Apr 17 #170
Yup, as Nige is saying, you can have multiple accounts with your console set as the primary. You don't need to have a "primary" account on your console. You may not have had to set your console as your U.S/ Canadian account's primary console, but that's because it's likely the only console you've signed in to them using, therefore it automatically makes it the primary console.
cough321
11 Apr 17 #171
I was thinking of primary account for the console not main account used. When I first set-up my PS4 and then during repairs etc. all of officials sony guides said a console can be set as 'primary' for one account only and must be unlinked in order to be paired as primary with another account. so wasn't aware that it automatically then allows the console to be assigned as primary to multiples other accounts if they havent been used on other consoles yet.

quite a handy fact and thanks for explaining to me why my understanding never matched up with everyone else's.
nige182
11 Apr 17 2 #172
That sounds like incorrect information from Sony then, an account may only have one primary console but a console can be primary for multiple accounts. If you send your console in for repair, you should unlink your profile first in case they have to replace the motherboard and then you can set the 'new' console as your primary. Otherwise I think you have to remove all consoles linked to your account through their website.

Sony used to allow up to three 'primary' consoles per account for PS3 (and if memory serves me right, it used to be five when the PS3 launched), but I think they have done away with that now and it is only one of each console type.

£12.33 currently with Paypal.

If I wanage to get just a few hours out of one of these games I will get the value to myself. Until then, they can sit on my dust virtual shelf until I get around to it.

Which would be the best game out of these to start off with?
