Hadn't heard of Rebel Galaxy but watching a trailer (and especially hearing the music) it sounded right up my ally, well worth the second tier. Great value for the top tier as well although seeing certain issues people raised in Steam reviews (particularly the one about Offworld gating large chunks of campaign off behind DLC) I figured I should pass for now.
Relevant to my interests, space )) thanks op.

Same here, but this bundle just doesn't seem to appeal for some reason. Might try out the bottom tier as it's only 81p.

Sins of a Solar Empire is an absolute steal at 81p just for itself. RTS at some of its finest.

As well, the free tier was well reviewed historically on Metacritic. Steam people seem to have difficulty getting it to work and moaning about the lack of tutorial/graphics etc..
Actually, I think I'll be in for Tier 1 ($1).

Not bad at all. Top tier is very much worthwhile if you won't already own either game... though sadly, I already do!
As always, if anyone has any spare keys, from here or elsewhere, donations for my weekly giveaways are very much appreciated.

Sins is awesome, I didn't have the expansions or have it in my steam library so well pleased with that for 81 pennies!

Apparently the one they're offering in this bundle has been made obsolete, as there's a newer version (Rebellion) that contains all the same content and more. You also apparently need to register a 'Stardock' account to play this now? Doesn't sound like it's worth it to me.

You know you have too many games when you have to search through your Steam library to find out which ones you do/don't own! (I already own all of them except Space Hulk Ascension.)

You must be joking! I have been holding up the "buy" buttons so many times from the galactic civ 2 & 3, rebel galaxy and solar empire. This is the best bundle ever!

Nah, that was the Freedom Bundle :stuck_out_tongue: This one's still great, though - if you don't own either of the top tier games, I'd say go all in.

I didn't like freedom bundle at all but everyone has different preference. I think capcom bundle was the best

Outside of this registration commentary, that means the game is the same as it was when it first came out! True, single player would have added something and probably worked as a more gentle tutorial, but it still is a lot of fun and the AI is decent to play against skirmish wise.

I already own the middle tier as well as Galactic Civilizations II: Ultimate Edition.
Both top tier titles are dlc rip offs, so I will pass on this one. But it's worth a buy if you don't own the tier 2 .

GalCiv 3 has really been superseded by Stellaris now, but Planetary Annihilation is pretty cool if you ever liked Total Annihilation back in the day

It should be, but it really isn't. The game lacks a soul, for want of any other description. Whatever TA and Supreme Commander had that made them fun, PA is missing that spark. It's dead inside. The decision to only have one "faction", as it were, doesn't help, but I'm not sure that having an ARM and a CORE would make it much better.

Best bundle ever in your opinion? I like space and all that, but these games just don't float my boat. Each to their own I guess.

Good bundle (heated). If you like 4x space games, you should also check out Stellaris and Distant Worlds (neither on offer atm). Stellaris has pretty graphics, is modern, complex, still evolving. Distant Worlds is similar but older - in many people's view the best of the genre. If you're going to play for 100s of hours, the price isn't necessarily the main consideration. It's a personal choice.
