Out of curiosity...What phone would you suggest for £199 or under? Qualcomm wise I mean? That'll give similar day to day performance yet have superior download speeds?

Picked up one of these a few months ago for £149.95 from Amazon Warehouse. At least I think its this model, specs and screen size look to be the same. Mine is a KIW-L21.
Does everything a phone is meant to do without issue. Best thing about it is the battery life - beats anything I've had for years. Ok, I'm not playing games on it, but use it for messaging, emails, calls browsing etc and three days is normal.
I don't care if its a FlipFlop775 chip inside, it does the job its meant to without needing charged every twelve hours!

I would suggest Le Eco max 2 or Zuk z2 etc with snapdragon 820 and B20 Band. Most phones with snapdragon 820/821 are really good.

Have you used either of these very obscure phones (I've never heard of either) or are you just going on spec's?

Actually spot on. I picked up the ZUK Z1 a year or so back and adored that thing, still going strong with my mum too :innocent:
Are these on eBay or is there a reseller somewhere?

You'll find both on hukd, Letv x820 has b20, 5.7" 2k screen (qhd), fingerprint sensor and dual sim(though no micro sd). I have the x829(no b20), nice phone, happily recommend.

What is the camera like in these alternatives? I've heard the Lenovo is quite poor but don't know about the Le Eco.
No b20 on linked mobile. The Redmi Note 3 is a great phone though becoming hard to get (the Special edition has b20).

B20 is no biggie if you use EE which you should but that's another story.....

Just trying to clear up the SE/global /international issue for others. Yes, RN3 is a great phone, two at home (one SE) with no issues on 3 mobile - both receive 4G as expected.

Is OppoMart reliable, I'd been on it since a long time ago but never ordered anything and never known whether it's reliable or not though it looks more legit than GearBest and other Chinese websites...

No EE use B20 as well. When your signal goes crap don't blame EE. I am with EE and checked with Lte Discovery app that I use B20 most of the time.

When you go in a crowded area where many people are using the phone , like train station or stadium, it makes real difference. In London most places are crowded so I want the best reception possible. If you are willing to compromise on reception and use your phone only as a tablet, you may not have any problem.

Will this work okay on Vodafone? If not I'm tempted by the Redmi Note 3 Pro posted above. Thanks!

Also, would there be a chance of getting charged an extra £35 on top of this price from customs which I think is 20% on phones...?
