Oh no, can't benefit from this as my cooker space is 60cm so not enough leeway on either side. Shame it doesn't work on smaller models, but a great deal all the same.

Thanks, but looks like a need a bit more leeway as I don't seem to have the required give on each side which they are saying is 65mm. Unless I'm reading it wrong.

Up to hot plate height it says 600mm min between cupboards.
Above it wants 650mm,not sure why?

It seems I'm ok above hotplates but not enough below or whatever. Such a shame. I think I too need the 50cm one which the code will not budge on,lol!

Is everyone getting Tesco to install it? I'm re-decorating so I'm going to get installation separate, as they may come before I've finished. Is it usually a lot more than their £80?

They don't come with a hose fitted anymore I think so that puts me off

They never have a bayonet cooker hose pre installed.

My old one has the hose, but I'll get someone out as knowing my luck, after trying I'll have the biggest gap ever,lol!

In theory, but I would always replace a hose whenever I change a cooker. Threaded joint one end, bayonet the other. It's a few minutes work.

No it won't come with a hose, no cooker does, you buy one for around a tenner. You can use Ptfe, I haven't used it in years as I use loctite55, you can just use gas rated jointing compound.

People buy them, for all different reasons. Mine is, as I live in a council house, I may move, so get to take it with me, also can't fathom paying much more than this, buying a separate hob and oven, then buying the unit to house this oven and the new work surface for the hob, then getting all of it fitted by a carpenter, plus paying gas safe card person to fit it all. Too much in the end. This is nice and compact. £40 approx to get it connected safely. Will do be just fine and is not skanky at all imho.

Don't suppose you live anywhere near CAMBRIDGE? Would love to pay a fellow gas safe hukd'er to fit it, rather than a random person with a gas safe card.

Just hope it turns up now, fantastic price.

A not black in colour (current old cannon is black), 60cm, with lid / splash thingy (whatever you call it) with safety cut out had cooker too replace our 10yr old cannon. This was just right and the price even better.
