In previous years the ostrich eggs and even most of the extra thick ones were sold out before Xmas. They seem to have everything still available this year. Still can't justify spending this amount even though I like the chocolate.

Probably, like most places do.. they make more? I've always wanted one and never wanted to spend £27 on the Thick Rocky Road one but I got it just now as it's 50% but £4 delivery is steep.

Im waiting for the annual post-Easter supermarket clearance on chocolate eggs. Going to get me a few Cadbury ones like last year. Can't remember how long after Easter they go on clearance?

I just freeze the innards and put the rest somewhere cool & dry. I've done this many times with End of Season items, for Easter & Christmas.

How nice is the chocolate? I hate the taste of Cadbury and Thorntons but love deluxe chocolate like Lindor.

In general most chocolate available on the highstreet is utter crap because they dont acually put cocoa in it, they just pad it with fat a sugar. lindt is very sugary but it's about the only widely available that has a fair amount of chocolate in it. Hotel chocolate started out as great prices with very high cocoa content, now you really need to look at the ingredients to see what you are getting, they are probably still they best chocolate you can buy in the uk, but at much higher prices than previously (great sales though) but about half the stuff they sell is really sugary too.
I particularly hate the truffles that hotel chocolate pad alot of the products out with nowadays, they are really fatty and sweet, and the high quality praline is great as always but you are lucky to find a product with more than 15-20% praline items in it....

You have to add it to your cart and then view your basket in order to find if it is truly in stock, at that point you will see the Rocky Road is declared Out of Stock

Having got my Rocky Road one and for the first time tried their chocolate.... i feel violated, feel robbed. Chocolate is bland, no real difference in taste to Asdas own. Never again.

I bought some of the Thorntons ones in their Easter Sale. I'm very impressed, to be honest - much better than I was expecting and the price was exceptionally good.
