He was replying to someone's question regarding the quality of the metal and gave an honest and accurate description. Based on fact this set is not premium quality and is quite down the food chain. The choice is yours.

What were you expecting for less than 40p an item? Seems to be a perfectly adequate set nicely presented, with decent reviews and good value at under £23. Amazing what some people expect for their money.

we have one of these and i would say they are great. It suits any traditional dinner table but one word of advice "DRY THE CUTLERY ASAP ONCE YOU WASH" or else it will leave stains and over period of time will errode the silver shine.

I agree they are not the best for quality ,but for the money they are cheep. they may not last for many years but if you are looking to get them out on occasions for dinner parties etc ,they should do the job in my opinion.

My mistake, i misread it (any deals on reading glasses?). In that case, don't go near it. Low quality Chinese tat.

Yes to both. The best quality cutlery is made from 18/10 followed by 18/8 with the cheapest being 18/0.

18/10 steel used. The nickel content will make is resistant to corrosion.
