Is this TV good for ps4 gaming? I'm off to pick one up but can't seem to find actual reviews on this unit lol.

It might be an okay TV, but I just wanted to point out that despite the fact it says it supports HDR, it's not really an HDR set; the specs list its brightness at 350 nits, whereas the better HDR TVs were all 1000 nits last year and up to 2000 nits this year for the flagship models. This Hisense is pretty much just a regular SDR TV in terms of brightness. It might have a wider colour gamut than expected (though it's not a 10 bit panel either), but brightness and black levels are likely going to make you disappointed if the HDR sticker is something that sways you into buying this TV.

As are ALL other brands within this price range. You are getting a hell of a lot more bang for buck with Hisense in this price range compared to any other once-was brand.

No, they said I would need to go to a local JL store (local to RS) and ask them to price match. Not practical for me to do that so I left it.

How does this compare to the H55M7000?

It doesn't, the 7000 is a far superior set

Thanks for posting; I like the look of this. I am going to ask John Lewis for a price match as it is more convenient for me to order online. Not sure if they will as this is an in-store only RS deal but I will try.
