There has to be times when just cause something is the cheapest at the moment its not a deal, this is a perfect example. This has been cheaper brand new (queue the time machine comments) but seriously when something is end of line and second hand plus the price gets inflated, its still a deal cause its the cheapest around?

I got the same deal and they still rock. If you can get them cheap then go for it. I use mine often. I will agree having to crank the volume up past 10 on my TV or cpu to get them to power on is a bit annoying but minor compared to the look and sound. You can also add a bluetooth adapter if you need wireless.

Simply because you've got two outputs clashing with one another and you're running the risk of one output stage damaging that of the other device (if not both). This is an absolute no-no. If it was that easy to get multiple inputs, everyone would be doing this all day long.
Absolutely - that will isolate the outputs from the two things you're connecting up; otherwise you run the risk of one item feeding its output back into the output stage of the other, with a possibility of damaging or blowing one or both devices.

Would it be best to use a audio switch for multiple inputs?
I wouldn't combine inputs. That's asking for trouble. Outputs fine
I have the MK I's at work and the MK II's at home. Fantastic speakers, especially for the price. I used to have a bluetooth box attached to them which worked great, but now I've added an Echo Dot and it works an absolute treat. For £90 you can't get much better IMO

Were you aware there are volume control buttons on one of the speakers? Took me a few days to realise there was a volume control button

I did this for a while but I found that when and after using the bluetooth reciever the sound quality of the PC sound deteriorated quite badly. Everything was fine as long as the BT wasn't putting out a signal or if I only used BT.
Never did work out why,

Don't see how a set of speakers could possibly fit either the cultural definition of meme or the social media definition of a meme?!

You can use the 20% discount given to people involved in the speakers fiasco to reduce the price further.

I did try that with 'my' 20% Paul; but it seems the discount only applies to their main :https://uk.harmanaudio.com site; and not this Outlet site. Oh well.

You can either split the input to maintain connection to the fixed source (PC in my case) then add a Bluetooth receiver to the other half of the split or simply just have 1 or the other connected.
Hope this helps, i may not have articulated it particularly well but it is really straightforward.

headphones are an OUTPUT, not input. There is one 3.5mm INPUT to the soundsticks, so if you get a bluetooth receiver (which would be an input) that has 3.5mm capability, natively, or converted from phono etc, then that will work via that just fine to pipe it out the speakers.

Been reading reviews on this, it says there is nowhere to plug in headphones so where would a wireless receiver plug in to? been wireless would make these worth buying for me..

I paid £59.99 on Christmas 2015, but that time is gone...
Really good sound, but I do wonder if you get similar quality from cheaper speakers... but (very important) they look amazing

Very good Speakers, I've got them connected to the tv as a sound bar, I recommend
You can pick up a Bluetooth receiver for a couple of dollars on Gearbest etc. And you're cooking.
I've got these... Really impressed. Had them about 18 months and highly recommend.

got a pair of these, and the latest manufacturing iteration of the III has very annoying, undefeatable power saving mode as enforced by EU law, they cut out even if volume is fairly loud, and to wake again you have to crank volume right up, a constant hassle every few minutes!

Yours must be faulty mine do not cut out as long as there is sound coming out of them high or low. I do agree with raising the volume ti restart them

Was this the one listed for £39.99? Where did you order from? Their eBay store or their website? The reason I ask is I purchased on the eBay store n they have taken my money through PayPal but not dispatched the speaker. Also haven't given a refund yet. Guess I should contact them asking for a refund or wait?

Always wanted them, but they're too old now, I'll wait for a new design.
