Bought 5 of these about a year ago and still have 2 left after a 16 mile a day commute and riding my local trails regularly. Not sure you can argue at this price in comparison to tubes costing 3 - 4 times as much that will still submit to the same trail impacts or glass / thorns on a commute, but feel free to waste your money ;-)

For 2 quid a tube for a 29er wheel, who can really argue. Heat from me.

I usually get my road bike spares from decathlon where you can get a twin pack for £2.50. I've never had a problem with them though I'm not a particularly demanding rider. I don't even have a pump with a PSI gauge on!

I've never used Poundland tubes, and lifes too short to risk using tubes more likely to puncture so I play it safe.
The stuff I would buy from Poundland is the surplus/bankrupt stock stuff which is cheaper than the normal RRP. What I dont buy is the stuff made to a £1 price point. These tubes look to be the latter.

I usually buy my tubes from planet x and they work out about £2. No problems with them.
I wouldn't trust tubes from Poundland, but my Father uses these on bikes he fixes up and sells on and they at least work long enough for a test ride...

Poundland is a high turnover low margin business with one of the lowest margins of any retailer, lower than all supermarkets I think. No reason to believe their £1 inner tubes are inferior to £2 inner tubes elsewhere but obviously likely to be inferior to more expensive inner tubes. Most shops operate on a far higher margin than poundland. They may even be the same inner tubes as sold elsewhere. In fact pretty sure people sell the poundland inner tubes unboxed on ebay for considerably more money.

This isn't a new deal and isn't only web inclusive but still a great deal. Got 5 for both my bike and my partners.
Been running two weeks (120 miles) on pretty hard off road on a Trek Hybrid and they have been faultless holding 80psi. (700x38c)
I'm pretty new to biking but don't understand why you would pay more?.

Dare I mention poundland often have a range of inner tubes although 24" seems most common locally with lesser amounts of 20" and 26" tubes. They do a good basic pump for a £1 too.
use these at 100 - 120 psi on my road bike. No idea of quality for MTB but never had an issue. Though one of my cycling friends told me "I use inner tubes of a cyclist who has given up caring" Remember to use British cycling discount to take this down to £9.
I also use the 16" schrada ones on my bany buggy- now and again they leak a bit. never had issue with presta.

Is the quality of these any good? Was thinking of buying 2 Continental/Specialized for this price. I am a mountain biker.

Used the road inners before and they didnt last long or hold 100+psi. I only use conti's these days but i guess you get what you pay for
