Trade Card doesn't give you an additional discount off a reduced price. The price you paid for the toolkit would have been the Trade Card price.

Picked mine up today and can say it's bloody heavy and seems very well built but some self assembly is required but seems to be worth every penny.

Yes, they may try and refuse, but BC discount can be used on all items, not just cycling, you may need to show them the BC website. I have only had to do it once.

I used my trade card to buy a 200 piece pro toolkit. The kit was half price anyway, down to £150, and I got a further £25 off with my card. So, worth a try.

They probably think it's reasonable to assume that you will have those two basic items, if purchasing a fairly big tool box.

Had one of these for about 6 years and paid a similar price then. Really good for the price and everything the DIY mechanic needs.

Damn forgot the Quidco! Initial thoughts.... No tools supplied to build it (you will need a Phillips screwdriver and a 10mm wrench/spanner). Wheels don't fit that well (they don't click in to place like other caster type wheels have I've fitted and would easily come off if you lifted the box). Instructions awful. It doesn't even tell you to add the bottom off the cupboard unit (OK dumb of me but I was following step-by-step). You initially remove the bottom to allow you to take the draws out of the cupboard. Then unscrew the bottom plate and attach to the bottom unit.
It does scratch quiet easily. So when assembling be careful to assemble on a nice smooth surface.
Draws are a fir stiff but then ease up pretty much straight away.
If you aren't aware the drawer section can be lifted off the cabinet. This was a bonus to me as it makes it more mobile. The drawers aren't that deep (maybe normal for cabinets like this).
Yes the metal is also quite thin.
However it looks decent and despite what this sounds like I am pleased I've bought at this price. Just need to fill it now!!

collecting tomorrow, wanted one of these for ages and could pass up on this price. 4% cashback using quidco as well.

I bought one of these a couple of years ago when it was on sale for a similar price, kept in a shed. The metal is pretty thin, but no sign of any rust or issues yet, and yes, it is still very red.
Makes your life so much easier if your current method of storing tools is a carrier bag / cardboard box / holdall / workbag etc.

I bought one for my old man 2-3 years ago = cold air garage and no rust, still solid.
Built mine last week and strangely I can now find my bike tools and torque

are these magnetic?

The cupboard door closers are magnetic but not the drawers, those have a very firm grip closer that will not fly open during movement.
