Interested, but the comments saying the jack doesnt lift enough to place the stands? I guess most tyres are around 14-15 inches so up to 34cm doesn't lift above a tyres height according to another poster? Or is that wrong? Surely up to 34cm above ground level is just that?

My Mini is on 18s, and my MR2 is on 16s rear (15 front).
Probably depends more on how far down the jacking point juts out from the car chassis, but as above, I have to use a 2x4 offcut on the MR2, and the axle stands have to have the retaining pin pulled out (i.e. on their lowest possible point). On the Mini, still have to use a 2x4 offcut to boost the height if I want to put the car on the axle stands, but I can at least put the retaining pin in on the first level.

Can't fit under my Caterham on the creeper, even when it's on axle stands :disappointed:
I see the "£350" 200 piece toolkit is down to £150 again. If you can find a 10% off voucher or deal, that becomes stunning value at £135.

Good find !

Useful set, the creeper is a bit flimsy and you might find the trolley jack doesn't lift the car high enough to get it onto the axle stands without using an offcut of wood as well though.

Trolley jack only 2 ton so makes no difference

Wouldn't two 2 tonne axle stands have a combined capacity of 4 tonnes?

Yup, unless the marketeers have had their influence...

This seems cheap! I think I paid about £20 for the stands alone a few months back? How much does this retail at normally?
