Episode 1 is free already?! Normally TellTale wait until at least episode 3 before offering the first episode!
How long is the actual episode? anyone played?? Seems lately they're doing hour long eps of everything, I feel like they spreading themselves thinly.

If it's anything like Walking Dead S3 demo it'll be about 10 minutes long. Not really worth the download imo.

I meant the actual first episode, not the demo.
TWD season 3 is another one of the hour episode culprits. (at least so far...) Literally; look at a severed hand, ascend a ladder - Achievement unlocked: 'Completed Act 3 of Chapter 1'
No real puzzles anymore. It's a shame.

They'll give away the first episode free once the series gets further along, I'll wait till then.

Telltale were on such a great run of form between The Walking Dead s1 & 2, Wolf Among Us, Tales From the Borderlands and even Game of Thrones (which i know some didn't like) but Michonne was so lacklustre and I'm having trouble finding the enthusiasm to get through the Batman game. Waiting for Walking Dead s3 to finish before jumping in so I'm hoping it's a return to form. Guardian looks promising.

It would probably be worth mentioning PS4/Playstation Store in the title and description, if that's what you're linking to.
A demo is also available for Xbox One, but there doesn't seem to be a PC demo either on Steam or the Telltale website. :disappointed:

Oh Telltale, where did it all go so wrong?....

They peaked at The Wolf Among Us and have been on a slow downwards trajectory ever since. I don't think it's solely down to the games or stories themselves being bad but rather because they've saturated their own product and fatigue is setting in - how many games using the same engine now?! Must be at least 20 if you include the PC-exclusive ones like Sam & Max.

I feel it is more like they've gone where the money is. There's bigger profit to be made from the likes of Marvel franchises, Minecraft and Borderlands.
The last one of their games I really liked was Game of Thrones but I think those days are gone now.

Probably right - their first few games were reinvigorating cult franchises - Sam & Max, Monkey Island etc, but since they scored big with TWD, they've hit progressively larger franchises where, let's be honest, you can slap the logo on any old crud and move units. I'm still optimistic this one will turn out well as I actually think this is the only format a game based on the franchise would work; the strength of the movies and comics is in the writing, the character's individuality and the group dynamic, so a generic 3D action game would not have cut it.

I'm not a Marvel/comic/superhero person so I'll be giving this one a miss. I've actually stopped buying their games now because I don't feel like they're making games for me anymore.

OP thanks for this, but still... I don't get how a demo can get hot in hotukdeals. It's a demo, where's the deal?

Get back to Borderlands mate I just finished it tonight and it was great I was going to trade it in but I changed my mind I intend going back to it at some point I really enjoyed it. I also completed batman this weekend and that was good too apart from the bugs. I'm looking forward to this one.
