With all the easy cash card sales they are getting from this I wouldn't hold my breath for GTA 6 anytime soon. When they make so much money with so little effort why put the effort in? This game is the game that ruined Rockstar.

Rockstar have made plenty of awful games. Manhunt 2, LA Noire and GTA IV come to mind and I would also say GTA V as well. I'll never get the love Rockstar gets. Most of their games are painfully average once you look past the hype and see the flaws of the gameplay.

Never played manhunt 2 so can't comment on that. I loved LA Noire and hope they return to that style of game. GTA IV was probably the worst gta but not awful.

GTA 3, Vice city, San andreas, Bully, Red dead Redemption, Warriors, Max payne 3 all great games imo.

Out of those I would say only Max Payne 3, RDR and San Andreas are great games. The others are very average and have aged like crap. LA Noire was very average game. Like I said the gameplay in Rockstar games are either average or awful but they have graphics and hype clouding people's brains.

Tend to agree. Whilst it's a great all round title, the online microtransactions have plunged the series story mode into doubt. Get the feeling it's turning into an MMO. :disappointed:

Play it today and you will wonder how people even enjoyed it. Also plenty of games did open world before GTA. In fact even Driver franchise beat GTA from being open world game first. GTA was in the right place at the right time. It got lucky.

Like I said GTA got lucky. It was in the right place in the right time. In fact when GTA 3 got revealed at E3 literally no one cared and Rockstar are still salty over that to this day. Its why they haven't appeared at E3 since back then.
