I've never played Chuckie Egg. Just googled it and I must say........its a AAA game and well worth the download even though it may take up to 1 second to download

Will this run Chuckie Egg? (showing my age here)

Nope, and it defiantly won't run Crysis. :stuck_out_tongue:
EDIT: As I have been internet spelling corrected, I feel that it is my obligation to correct my mistake, and the above word was meant to be definitely, not defiantly. I apologise to anyone who was annoyed or may have failed a spelling test due to this error

Not a bad price, but this card would struggle with some of the latest games.
I tried it recently with Jet Set Willy II and it was constantly lagging...

Is that the new version with online play, if so it's more than likely your ISP/Broadband provider as the bandwidth requirement are immense.

Indeed, there we 7 in stock when I posted it but a deal at this price so they were clearly snapped up by a re-seller which is understandable for what is almost a paper launch for AIB cards, hence I updated the OP with the OOS.
Again as I have said before, Amazon don't take money until dispatch so worst case scenario is you find it somewhere else cheaper on the mean time and cancel this order, nothing at all to lose.

Amazon have confirmed 4th May for delivery, so that was only a 2 weeks, not 1-2 months

Looks like a great card, wonder if an i5 6600k OC'd to 4.5Ghz will bottleneck this? Looking to get a 1080 Ti and stick to it for 5 years..

Indeed, which is exactly why people will buy it and put it in their windowed case with full RGB LED's flashing away.

I completely agree, it is insane, but some people are happy to pay this sort of money - me no, I'm not one of them!
None the less it's still the cheapest AIB 1080Ti I've been able to find, most of them in the UK are £740+

I don't think too much actually , sure the flagship GPUs from early 2000's have cost similar amounts on release, maybe slightly less but it's all relative

YAY. Don't worry though, we're about to get a government who totally have our interests at heart - Theresa's party cares about us so much that she's going to win a landslide just by treating us all like complete and utter plebs, thinking that all we need to vote Tory is for us to hear the same phrase over and over and over:
And the worst thing is that it's going to work, too.

You can now also Pre-order the Asus ROG Strix GeForce GTX 1080TI Gaming from Amazon.de for only £735, a whole £60+ than anywhere else.
Or very weirdly from the same place for only £723 using this link right HERE! - which is about £75 less than anywhere else.

The MSI Geforce GTX 1080 TI Armor 11G OC is only £660 HERE! - what makes the Gaming X version worth £54 + £6 postage more? Genuine question, as it appears to be a few MHz on the core, and most of the Pascal 1080 TI's clock a lot higher than these out of the box anyhow.

The card you linked has a very weak cooler and runs at like 90-100% fan speed at stock.
So much so, that the second one he has locked the fan at 80% and the card never goes above 71c at 90-100% load on the GPU core, and the boost is hitting between 2025-2050MHz
If you are going to post something, at least back it up with some evidence.
