It's only a small low key place but ideal for those that want a more traditional Greek holiday.

I think that's what it boils down to. Making it easier for the schools. Where's the fines for the teachers when they're complaining about the pay and going on strike? Where's the thought into our kids education whilst they're doing that. Bugs me is, these holidays are great opportunity for people who work minimum wage jobs and can't afford to go on school holidays. Yet they suffer when they get back with fines and also the stress of thinking are they going to just take me to court instead? Even states parents can go to jail? Well if that doesn't wreck a kids head, not seeing they're parents because they took them on holiday.. Wow. Frustrates me! Doesn't make sense. I get it, if your a parent who can't be bothering to get out of bed to take your children to school, yeah that's unfair. But mine only are off school for family holidays. I can't afford myself the prices, it's crazy. I'm not saying all teachers see it like the one above us, as our daughters last teacher told us, she thinks it's all ridiculous.

I'm surprised it's still available at this price, such a bargain. I've no idea why the link isn't working. Very strange . . .

thanks Rachel, new link still not working but I have the gist of the holiday, having just booked an expensive holiday in June I shouldn't really be looking at this!

They're just trying to maintain the cheap single faced lesson plans, if it worked we could just replace it with robots anyway.
We need to remove school holidays and give kids a holiday allocation like us adults.
Then leave it to the teacher/schools to figure out to educate around that, its their job to do so anyway. They're experts after all?

What about the kids who are slower? or the ones being held behind because they are faster?
What about in younger years when there is a larger difference between the oldest and youngest in the year?
I guess it's hard if someone wants to do the easy option of running the same thing for everyone each lesson, but sadly this just doesn't seem to work as everyone complains about **** like this anyway.
The whole system needs a shake up, and it will make it harder for yourselves, but making it easier for you should not be the endgame.

Well as a parent, I would think spending unforgettable time with your children is more important. I remember my holidays with my parents like it was yesterday, they still make me smile. It's crazy how stupid our education system is getting. They're almost taking control of our lives. Imagine if we all had to take the exact same time of to go on holiday? Chaos.

As a teacher, I can assure you that educators do.
More than that, kids who are taken out of school for a week will find it considerably difficult to catch up on the work they've missed; many simply don't. Parents who regularly take their kids on holidays during term time will almost certainly find their children less capable and less engaged with their classmates.
No matter if you don't "give a crap" it breeds needless discomfort and trouble for the kids.
Edit: same goes for children who are kept out of school because it's their birthday, their sibling's birthday, their pet's birthday and all the other airtight excuses we hear.

Not getting that price at all, is it including London airports?

Seems that date is sold out, but 7th May is the same price if you can do that date. The 24th May is a little more expensive at £112.

can't get the 'Get Deal' link to open (just says affiliate something or other) and the link you posted is for apartments not the hotel listed by you?

That's odd, the Tripadvisor link seems to have the same location and details, I've checked the screen shots and I seemed to have an extra one in there so the one that is there now is the right one.
