Bit of a bust you don't get any from fuel. Best thing Sainsburys ever gave away was the England coins during Euro '96. Anyway, I'm a sucker for lego and Sainsburys is my local store so I'm down for these

I am happy to pay more if it means I don't have to shop in the same store as the peasants.

I've seen a lot of eBay and Facebook people selling the empty books for well over £2 price. I've seen plenty in the stores I've been into. Do people not know you can still buy them? Why pay well over the odds?

The books are nearly completely gone, with most stores sold out last week. Obviously not a lot of people collecting in your area then.

Cards only go across 2 corners - top left and bottom right, means you can put them in back to back.

A number of sainsburys stores (Might be all major ones, not sure) are doing swap meets. Our one in Farlington Portsmouth just had one and they have the staff there with all the cards in a huge box, with piles of each one, and they will trade any that you need. just completed my Grandsons collection, and a friends collection in minutes :-)
Our ones are listed for today (29th), wed 31st, fri 2nd and sat 3rd

Does anyone know if there's a site to exchange extras? We have loads of duplicates in our household with around 50% of the album completed

Apparently they are doing swap days at the end of the promotion (so the wife said)

A lot of people are saying no to them, which is why your Mum would've been given extra. They've produced plenty of the cards, so no chance of running out any time soon!

Those were the days! Would have been much better if the deal was for a set of exclusive minifigs rather than cards

And just like that, 20 years on and I back to being **** I never managed to get David platt to complete my set haha!
I did an online Sainsbury's shop for my mum in the week and she was given 10 packs of 4 cards for a £40 spend so if they keep that up they'll be out of stock before you know it lol

can't believe we also have supermarket fanboys - all supermarkets are as bad as each other it just depends which one is least grim where you live. For us, the nearest sainsburys is like eating out of a skip, the place hasn't been renovated since the 90s possibly longer, and it has rusty fridges, cracked floors, unknown mystery oozes of random stuff I won't even go into.
However if you're the privileged middle class no doubt your sainsburys is a lot nicer.
I prefer asda personally as they're not the best but at least they seem to try to keep all branches moderately consistent regardless of how posh the customers who shop there are. But I'll go wherever is cleanest quite frankly. If you're ever in doubt about a supermarket - stick your head in the milk fridge and have a good long sniff. More often than not you wish you didn't.

Ahh, so it's a pack per £10, not just 1 pack for spending at least £10? I bought a Switch at the weekend and the lady gave me 15 packs, I thought she'd got it wrong.

I tried to get some when I got my weekly £45 of fuel today and even the staff don't understand why they can't give them with fuel. They just cant, it's a shame.

beacuse fuel sells itself, no need to add sweeteners, just like cigs and lottery etc. they want customers to bring the weekly shop to Sainsburys to get these 'freebies'.

You do know cheap supermarkets have the same products as the expensive ones just with a different label on. It's exactly the same product for a lot of items that you pay more for just because it says Waitrose or Sainsbury's.
ijw0161 to MonkeyMan90
6 May 17#14
That's ridiculous. The meat & vegetables for example are far superior in Waitrose & Sainsburys than in ASDA. Try a Sainsburys Avacado in comparison to an ASDA one. ASDA sandwiches and sushi are another great example, yuk! ASDA hot deli roast chicken thighs etc are disgusting, try Sainsburys and its lovely.

Is this one of Sainsburys greatly promised promotions.
Stick to reducing prices on your already greatly over priced food.

Putting the cards in the album using the number on the card. Is there any relevance to the page? Maybe I am missing something?

thats true, Sainsburys like to align themselves with top end of supermarkets but on quality and services their on a race to the bottom.
satchef1
6 May 17#8
Ok. I'll bite. Please point me in the direction of a price survey where Waitrose don't finish bottom. They are consistently the most expensive supermarket. They've never won a Grocer 33 price survey, and are consistently 10-20% higher for the basket total than other retailers.
Sainsbury's usually fall mid-table, but do clock up a few wins a year.

By most I meant ASDA, Tesco & Morrisons. Totally agree M&S and Waitrose are better, I have loyalty cards for both. Not been called young in a long time! How do you know my age?
robin5858
28 Apr 17#6
So you saying then that because Sainsburys prices are higher than even Waitrose, even for branded food, that their products are better.
Waitrose and M&S is far superior than Sainsburys posh fayre.
