Is this offer still running? It has a 14 day free trial but I thought that was a standard offer? Also link takes me to Ancestry.com and recommends going to Ancestory.co.uk?

Hi there. I did have an annual membership of Ancestry to build the family tree. I have then used free websites such as FreeBMD, Family Search and Find a Grave to add to it and also when Ancestry is free. Also i tried out FindmyPast as a free month trial. It is useful to use several sites as the searches are slightly different or they have some different archives e.g. Findmypast has details of 1939 pre war census and newspaper archives. The totally free websites probably provide less detail and searching can be more clunky but sometimes throw up details you don't expect, and they are free!!

Just phoned Ancestry....free access is working but only gives access to records and hints about records. Doesn't give access to hints about pubic ancestry member trees....which is where I was having the problem. Hope this helps...

There various scientific studies done to show we are all related. One was done by Oxford, one was done in Cornwall and various others I've come across so it won't be a surprise you just need to use the right keywords to find it. I didn't find it but this is an example.Your text here
Whatever differences there are between us colour, religion etc Adam and Eve are something we have in common. Btw you do realise this rules out life on other planets

That's great. I have used Ancestry for my family tree which is now quite extensive, but don't want to pay for another annual subscription. I have also used FreeBMD, Family Search.org and find a grave for research which are all free.
